A man who was possibly poisoned by lead and possibly crazy as a menopausal woman with nymphomania.

If he could do all this good for the world then what is our excuse?

Well, looks like the first job for the new Pope is
to canonise Tesla!
There are a few Youtube-style (is that meant to be an insult? Yes) nut -job theories here, but one thing true about Tesla is that he was proud of his native Serbia, and published a volume of translations of Serbian poetry into English.
So, on the grounds that scientists who do poetry should be encouraged, I`ll raise a glass to him.

"Im gay for Edison in the way that I want to put his balls on my chin and suck up his man juice"

~ This guy knows what i`m talkin` about

"It was a 100 foot Tesla coil."

- That wasn`t a death ray, it was a failed experiment for wireless transmission, which was beat out by another inventor, Marconi, "The inventor of radio"

Tesla was sent here from the future to help mankind, and he did invent a death ray, there are pictures of it. It was a 100 foot Tesla coil.

"Well, someone`s gay for Edison"

- No Edison, no computer/video porn, no sexy time music,

Tesla was celibate (except for maybe a pigeon)

So yeah, I`m gay/bi/straight, for Edison.

@onoffonoffon - ARE F#ING KIDDING ME. Edison tested xrays on HIMSELF, and almost went BLIND. He`s like that guy who tested jet planes before anyone knew if they would work, and I don`t hear anyone calling that guy an @sshole. As for the "sweat shop", Edison`s was the FIRST industrial research facility. Before then, investors were making poo in barns. Edison gave them a place to invent, as well as resources, as long as those inventions were viable.

Tesla had his fame when he was alive... don`t you think there`s a reason why history forgot him in favor of Edison??? B/C we owe more to Edison than Tesla!!!!

The image doesn`t say who it is... Yes I know who it is, and yes it`s in the title but the whole point of the pic is to give credit to Tesla and it doesn`t even say his name lol.

You know, I love me some Tesla, but I always find these things hard to read when they have spelling errors, especially on the simplest of words.

Isn`t Tesla one of the famed historical people sometimes thought to have Asperger`s Syndrome? It would definitely explain a lot...especially acts of deep emotional empathy (which can be felt greater than the neurotypical if the object makes their feelings well known verbally), solitude and pigeons...definitely the pigeons...oh, right, and hyperfocusing --- and a severe aversion to the occult and metaphor etc.

Bullpoo...bullpoo...

Tesla was plenty famous in his time, probably more famous than edison. He also made lots of money off of his inventions, regardless of whatever Edison may have done. Tesla lost his money from investing in failed experiments, as well as bad financial investmens.

He also tried to sell his death ray to anybody who would listen (even the russians), but nobody did b/c he was losing his F*ing mind at the time.

Tesla was also as much of a dick as Edison b/c of his ocd. He also poo on Edison when he died, being the only person to insult the man in his obituary.

So all you Edison haters can go live in a cave, b/c this entire world was built around his inventions/ production. All from a man with less than a year of formal education.

Tesla and Edison were pretty much diametric opposites. Epic dude on one hand, complete wanker on the other. RIP, Nikola.

Genius, nice guy. A pretty rare combination!

He didn`t "discover" radio or A/C current, but he DID invent the physical bits and pieces that made them practical! To this day people are "finding" that things Tesla invented actually worked! (Sometimes he had the right idea but technology wasn`t able to match it).

Edison was a total douch. He use kill elephants by electrocution to show people that Teslas `alternating current` was dangerous. Which was not true.
