I love it. My boy is 2 and he laughs at all the silly stuff too. Kids......the same in any language.

I did something similar when we had 60cm of snow in one snowfall a few months back. Except all I had on was swimming trunks and swimming goggles. My intention was to swim a lap of the front garden in the snow. Suffice to say, it didn`t work out that way. I made it about 2 feet before struggling back to the front door.

Anyway, my daughter had kinda the opposite reaction. She didn`t think it was awesome, she was just embarrassed and didn`t want me to do it.

"Dad", she said, "I know you`re weird, but now all the neighbours will think you`re weird too".

"I`m not weird!" I protested. "I`m normal!"

"No Dad. You`re not."

Reminds me of my boys. Kids loving silliness is universal!

It`s sunny and a comfy 20C / 68F where I am today, and the snow stayed on the ski hills all winter, where it belongs. This "snowing in" of which you speak seems terribly impractical.

WOW! What great Dad! And what a happy child he has!! I`m all smiles now.
No translation required :-)

I was about to say: where`s the "storm door"? Shouldn`t a cold place have more than one door to stay warm?
Then I remembered that storm doors open OUT... not so good if you`re prone to massive drifts, eh?
