see. it`s when you tell someone they can`t believe what they want that it becomes a problem. She can believe that marriage is reserved to a man and a woman, but that does NOT make her a nazi you damn reverse bigots.

BTW, Smeggy, I`m not against gay marriage, and I`m not a conservative; I`m a TRUE libertarian. I don`t think the federal government has any business promoting or prohibiting marriage of any kind for any purpose.

Smagboy, when you come out in favor of $trillion deficits, 8% unemployment, 50 million Americans on food stamps, destroying the health care system, thinking you can create jobs by raising taxes on employers, violating the 2nd amendment, allowing the Black Panthers to intimidate voters with nightsticks, appointing communists to high-level positions, buying oil from Venezuela instead of Canada, sleeping through the terrorist attach in Benghazi, spending $billions on monthly vacations, putting terrorists on trial in NYC with government-paid ACLU lawyers and an OJ jury, expelling Christian students for not stepping on the name of Jesus, teaching first-graders to masturbate, killing babies AFTER they`re born, and don`t forget, opposing gay marriage until after your last election, make sure you tell them you`re a liberal Democrat. Oh, and don`t forget to belittle their life`s work by telling them, "You didn`t build that."

You can be against gay marriage all you want, far as I`m concerned. Just make sure that when you speak out against it, you mention that you`re a conservative Republican. Make sure to mention it loudly and often. Anti-gay, conservative Republican. You can throw in your views on "legitimate" rape, Creationism as science, and Evolution, too, if you want, but, make sure when you do, you always mentioned your political alignment: conservative Republican. And rape. And anti-gay rights.

Thanks, HG. Also, let us not forget that Hitler wasn`t the only Nazi in Germany.

That`s a bit extreme. Always go right to the Nazis when you dislike something. Getting tired of that manure. Is it O.K. to say manure?

"Yeah, that`s a thoughtful, intelligent comparison."

The comparison is in regards to creating different classes of citizens and saying some are deserving of more rights than others. In that way the comparison works because the Nazis did that.

You can compare one aspect of one thing to one aspect of another without mandating that all aspects of both are congruous. Understand?

If my buddy has long hair and I tell him he looks like a chick that doesn`t automatically mean I think he has a vagina.

And Gerry smashes FartCommanders defenses and scores a great goal, 1-0 here at half time. Let`s see how this one will pan out in the second half.

I see Godwin`s Law is alive and well!

Nice to know that the folks supporting gay "marriage" think nothing of belittling Holocaust survivors and minimizing the horrors of mass murder. Not being able to subvert essential institutions of society = being shot, tortured, having medical experiments done on you, body parts cut and torn away, being burned alive, being gassed in mass murder houses with your friends and family, having your children, siblings, parents taken away and never seeing them again, mass graves and the genocide of entire cultural society.

Yeah, that`s a thoughtful, intelligent comparison.

@Fartcommandr- you must have never gotten to know a gay person. When you see someone`s heart break over a person they loved, heard the absolute despair in their voice, seen the bitter tears...you wouldn`t have a sliver of doubt in your mind that gay love is as true and natural as any straight relationship.

F*ck you, and the horse you rode in on. Especially the horse. Handsome creatures, really.

"everyone is entitled to their opinion"

Totally agree, and the responder`s opinion is that being against gay marriage is like being a nazi.

FartCommandr,
"There is no "love" in gay relationships, its always strictly sex based"
How much gay sex have you had to speak with such authority?
Must have been a lot, you`re so sure of yourself.
Well, maybe you just weren`t any good at it, everyone I gave a blow job to said they "loved" it.

Nope. Nope. Nope.
We`ll take a lot of blame for a lot of things,
Jeffrey Dahmer, Liberace, Alexander the Great,
but gays are not taking Hitler. He was NOT gay.
Nope. Nope. Nope.

Pst. 54% were Protestant. only 40% were Catholic....

yes, yes they are two different things...

"keep in mind it wasn`t only Jews that Hitler was targeting... He was going after gays and blacks as well."

and Roma (gypsies) don`t forget them...

@FartCommandr

Only someone that is gay could possibly know that much information

Given that the link is false, and represents a misrepresentation of the views of opponents of gay marriage (in fact it is quite the opposite: most believe that the issue of gay marriage itself is being pushed in order to create different classes of citizens), it is hardly surprising if people don`t interpret this picture in that way.

Of course Godwin`s law still applies, and the gay marriage advocate loses that argument.

I can only assume with a name like Fart Commander and that profile pic that everything you say is a joke and right now you are doing your best satire of an ignorant bigot.

this is just stupid. Homo behaviour is unnatural, disgusting, and wrong. There is no "love" in gay relationships, its always strictly sex based. Monogamous sex in the gay community is rare. Gay actions began as a sexual act and that is how it still is. Man and woman are able to take their emotions much deeper than any gay couple could even imagine.
Just stop shoving this crap down our throats and forcing us to accept it using rediculous methods as above.

Can`t believe all the idiots on this comment thread misinterpreting the image. Whether Hitler was religious or not is utterly irrelevant. The common link between Hitler and gay marriage opponents is the desire to use government force to create different classes of citizens.

doma was made to make it extremely hard on business that wanted to punish gays. they got what they wanted but they didnt like how much it would cost them to be bigots. it also brought the case to the supreme court, which in fact helped the cause. suprising how the freedoms you claim want take away from the freedoms of others. to me this was the best sneeky way Obama screwed over the right and their anti gay agenda. hit them in the only place they care about, their wallet.

You know that gay marriage proponents who use such an argument are clearly utterly ignorant of the arguments of both sides. That is why Godwin`s law came about - remember it means that the one bringing up Hitler has lost.

I can`t believe I never thought of interpreting that quote from Leviticus as He did here!

"Hey, look it`s another installment of OldOllie pretending Hitler wasn`t Catholic."

Hmmm. I gotta go with Ollie on this one. Hitler was raised Catholic but was openly against it later. He supported a specific Christian sect but insiders said it was just a method of control and he was privately hateful towards any religion.

At least according to anything I`ve ever read and wikipedia that is accurate.

No they weren`t, you ignorant f***tard. The Nazis hated Catholics almost as much as they hated Jews and Gypsies. If they had any religious affiliations at all, the were mostly Lutherans.
