Watch as the conservatives` brains melt when people actually point out the fact that Obama is a right of center politician and not the fire breathing socialist communist Muslim nazi boogieman they pretend he is.

You know there are a lot of big well known people seem to think they have all the answers to Americas problems. Is Obama muslim or a sleeper out to distroy America? I don`t know. Hell Bush was once called the antichrist and accused of 911. I just wish people would shut up and do things to help America than rant rave and throw the blame on everyone else.

We`re in the situation now because the Bush administration grossly overreacted to 9/11. Same as the Obama administration is going to grossly overreact to the Sandy shootings. We are a retarded nation of overreaction. To make things worse we don`t go back and fix these overreactions.

Overreacted to 9/11??? As long as Baghdad, Tehran, Pyongyang and just about every square millimeter of Afghanistan is at a temperature below 4000 degrees F, I`d say we have so far showed remarkable restraint.

P.S. You can be a socialist communist Muslim Nazi boogieman and still bomb the ever loving crap out of people. Even a stopped watch is right twice a day.

I couldn`t agree more. If I hadn`t honestly seen Bush and Obama in the same room at the same time, I might be tempted to conclude that Dubya had just blacked up and continued right on abusing human rights from where he left off. It takes real courage to tell the truth about the brutality and hypocrisy of any populist regime. I`m glad there are some Americans that see through the abuses of human rights that have gone on under all mainstream US political parties since 911.

It`s only when you start talking about and recognising how appallingly you`ve behaved as a nation that you`ll even begin to heal the damage that was done that day. I guess it`s fitting that the guy who was one of the first to tell the ugly truth about Vietnam is also the one to tell you the equally ugly truth about 911: you lost, three times. Once on 911, once in Iraq, and once more to come in Afghanistan. Recognise that and move on is my advice, before it consumes the rest of what your nation once was.

@danagamer: Important because he makes films & TV about topics which then influence public opinion ON those topics. For better or worse, he`s got a certain amount of sway in what people think.

Obama`s done everything the "liberals" said Bush was evil for doing, and then some! However, while Bush was indeed called "the antichrist" for his actions, Obama is handed a Nobel Peace Prize!

Same actions, same consequences, mirror-opposite "spin" from the MSM. Gee, I wonder why?

    right of center
I love how conservatives say that Bush was "left of center" and liberals say that Obama is "right of center".

Where the hell is center anymore?

"Obama is handed a Nobel Peace Prize! "

Yeah, but to be fair 5cats, he was handed that sooo quickly that none of his foreign policies had even been implemented. It was a prior drat up that gave him that, not one that ignored his law-breaking. I don`t think it was just US republicans that were baffled about what the drat the nobel prize committee were thinking of, I`ve not met one person that agrees with him getting that nobel peace prize after only just taking office and doing drat all for world peace before that (or after). It was basically a `gee they`ve finally got a black man in the oval office that isn`t just there to pour tea for guests...it must mean global peace is on the way.`

@listypoos: Al Gore got the "peace prize" too... something stinks in Sweden, eh? And it`s not all those herring they eat...

The main thing is: the "anti-war" protests ended, but the wars are BOTH still going on, and a 3rd one for a while there too! Gee, I wonder why...

Lolz: Obama even followed Bush`s Iraq Withdrawl plan to the day.

@markust: Paragraphs, eh? But I know what you`re saying.
Still, the MSM is the main reason people think the way they do! Like it or not, it forms USA`s opinions on things more than truth, facts or other "crazy ideas".
Until "the media" changes the way it operates? Other things are less likely to change, which is something I think Stone is trying to say.

You give the so called "MSM" more credit than it deserves. People get their news from many different areas now. And if you are talking about cable news the ratings pretty much show that not that many people are watching. And if they are they are already partisan and should be ignored.

"People get their news from many different areas now."

And most follow the Profit > Truth motto, yes?
You even point out that some "news sources" are highly partisan: that`s for a reason, eh? It`s how they expecct to make money!

Do I know the answer? Heck no! People have been bigoted and biased since the dawn of time!

Governments and "powers that be" have tried to control information and re-write history for just as long!

Untill "telling the truth" becomes both fashionable AND profitable? We have to sift through the bull-poop on our own, regardless of sources.

Remember The Maine! (an example of a lie, repeated by the government AND the media, that had dire consiquences, from 1898. Government lies are nothing new, eh?)

@OldOllie why not? I thought that picking on Obama would be right up your alley. Don`t tell me that as you don`t like the person, you completely disregard whatever they have to say in fear that you might find yourself agreeing with some things. That would be a shame. You know I normally disagree with most of your rants, but I read them.
And I really, really, really hope that AvatarJohn has no relevance ever in this world. Things are buggered up as it is...
