@zach: You tell them. Kill any and all detractors of the Christian Dojo. Then three days later, once they`ve learned their lesson, bring `em back to life again.

You have offended my dojo and my sensei, and for that you will pay with your life. I will avenge the honor of Totally Christian Karate!

@papajon: I do. And I`ve been doing it for 25 years. If you think martial arts aren`t at least partly about kicking arses, you`re mistaken. Next you`ll be telling me God told you that golf isn`t about hitting little balls with sticks.

Agree with @darkmagic14n. And why not have a Christian form of martial art? If it gets you from wherever you are to be one step closer to God, then I say go for it. I would have loved that when I was youn...ger. What a great way to reach kids you may not be able to do otherwise. I think it would be awesome to develop a series of martial art moves based around a philosophy of christ-like principles. Again, who says it`s about kicking ass?

Quite right, there is no such thing as "Christian Karate". There is such a thing as Muslim Karate. A friend of mine does it. He said he could loan me a few DVDs of them doing their stuff, and asked if I wanted him to stick the Koran on there too? Just to be polite, I said, "sure, burn me a copy", and that`s when the problems started...

I`m here all week. :|

"Ready christians! Turn the other cheek!" What kind of martial art is that?

There is no "christian karate" except in some deluded Christians head. But hey...why start questioning their vivid imagination now right?

It would only be a few thousand years too late.

If Jebus knew karate he could have used his cross as a lethal chopping move and get off with being
nailed up to the blinking thing
Would have thought his dad would have told him this
Shame on you Jebus`s dad
You may boast about immaculate conception but
Not teaching your son self defence - well
go hang your head big beardy sort

Some people believe that Karate and other "martial arts" have a spiritual element which is contrary to Christain values & teachings.

Perhaps they`re wrong, but it`s their RIGHT to be wrong, ok?
And if the people who run the business WANT to name it that? It`s their right as well.

Lib-tards, ffs.

Wait, is this (yet another) Christian bashing post? Should I put up some catgirls???

I`m more turned off by the word "totally" in the store name. Is that supposed to make it sound cool?
