I fully support actions that keep people who recreationally dress in full camo from reproducing.

Most chainsaws use a centrifugal clutch. You don`t have to press a button to make chain move.

safety clutch, trigger, whatever. It`s still a frigging stupid way to start a chainsaw, and yes I`ve used them before. I`ve never used a gun either, yet I know there`s certain things that you just DON`T DO. Is anybody seriously arguing that this is a safe way to do it? The internet is full of idiots.

Don`t bother telling people not to do this. This is a problem better left to sort itself out.

The make the handle big enough to get the toe of a boot through. So you stand on the handle and pull, much safer that way.

I`ve been on chainsaw safety courses and one of the ways they teach you to start them is to hold them between your legs. So while this is stupid its not just some weird thing he`s thought up by himself (hopefully).

onoffonoffon said it. look at how flat the bottom is too.. thats why u put it on the ground, put your foot through the handle to anchor it, and pull.

onoffonoffon; what you`re trying to explain is a "cold start" your foot goes over the chainsaw and you step on the handle with your heel. your left leg goes against the side where the pull start is located and your left hand on the guard rail. for a "warm start" the handle goes between your legs, your left hand on the guard rail.
