as has been said before anti-gun people hate guns. don`t want anything to do with them. don`t want to learn about them, understand them and then want to make decisions for others about them based on their ignorance. They would prefer to give up responsibility for themselves and their protection and be cared for by the government. what they have forgotten is the government is a machine and doesn`t care about you. It wants your money, but if your aren`t there to give it anymore there are 300 million and growing others to supply it to them.

Guess IAB in anti-gun. Reckon it`s far more important to make sure she can`t protect herself.

Wait until next week when you try to take the wifi away... We`ll get a chance to review daddy`s life then, I guess.

Also, thank god there is one fat viking in Europe who isn`t treating her like a school shooting in the making.

I see absolutely nothing wrong with this. Off trigger and toward the sky (just realized was already pointed out). Good for her.

Good dad taught her how to handle a firearm responsibly. Barrel up, finger off the trigger.

I see absolutely nothing wrong with this. Just about every 8-12 year old boy in america got a BB, Airsoft, or .22 for birthday or christmas. It`s no different if a girl is interested in those things. I actually commemorate the father for introducing firearms to his daughter at a young age. Growing up around firearms produces some of the safest practices of firearm control. A small rifle like that is a good choice for a young child to learn with. (and for those who disagree, it looks no bigger than a .22, but is probably airsoft, so calm down)

He got that for her to try and address her long standing problems with depression - sure, she`s happy now but will be interesting to see how that works out in the long run

Teach them about life...

Until they snap one day and shoot up a children`s ward.

Excellent equalizer! Teach her well in the proper use of this and she can defend herself and her loved ones well! My friends on the left. Here is some truth. Can you handle it? Can you then be smart enough to accept and spread it? When guns are outlawed only the outlaws will have guns. Not a good scenario...

Despite all the whinging, there;s actually very few anti-gun comments on this thread.

It`s just the title of the thread I guess.

First they will take the 2nd amendment away.
Once that is done, they will take away the 1st, and nobody will be able to fight back.

Daddy doesn`t worry about his little girl.
IF he taught her how to use that, good dad!

At least she isn`t holding it with her finger on the trigger or pointing it at anything to vital. Seems to have a vague amount of intelligence.

If we assume it`s real, How does any real American think that a child should own a weapon that can mow down dozens of people in a minute before she can get a license to drive a car?

If its an AR-15 its completely legal. Buy em up now while you still can and keep them in your zombie apocalypse bunker, biden is going to the hill after the first of the year to take those off the market.

How do you know this is irresponsible parenting?

I learnt to shoot when I was about her age, perhaps younger. So did many of my friends. Among other weapons I fired the British equivalent of this weapon, the L98 semi-automatic version of the SA-80 assault rifle.

I hope the parents ensure she learns gun safety and range discipline. Apart from that, great present.

Considering how impossible that would be for a civilian to get, I`d assume it`s some sort of airsoft or replica gun.

Then again, I don`t know much about guns. Maybe it`s semi-automatic instead of full.
