    I did this once, but mine was a Klingon Bird-of-Prey (fully cloaked, of course). I would`ve done this one, but I didn`t have enough dilithium crystals to power it.

    Yes, original series fans are Trekkies. Trekkers came into vogue to describe Next Generation fans, and many made a distinction between the two - especially early on as there was some tension between fans who favored one but not the other (Trekkies vs. Trekkers). Nowadays, I would say Trek fandom is somewhat more unified. People have their favorites and argue Kirk vs. Picard vs. Sisko vs. Janeway vs. Archer vs. New Kirk, etc., but it`s mostly in good fun; Trek fans are generally Trek fans. Trekkies is the original term (and I prefer it), but I would say either is acceptable given the current climate.

    Needs some context. That could be a 5cm high model off Ebay, or an awesome 100ft high version put up by a town council with some balls and too much tax money to spend. We Trekkesses* need to know which.

    @matt yea, but then she became even more of a sadistic bitch and conveniently found a way to time travel so she could save the ship.

    ...and what to my wondering eyes should appear
    but an Enterprise spaceship and guys drinking beer.
    The lights were all flashing so brilliant and techie
    I knew in an instant next door lived a Trekkie.
    They chattered of tribbles, of warp speed and Spock
    dilithium crystals, Uhuru and Doc;
    they sang out the praises of Seven of Nine,
    (a number they all seemed to think very fine).
    The flashing and yelling continued `til one
    when I screamed out the window "You`ve all had your fun!
    Now pull out the plug and get out of my sight;
    just go watch some reruns the rest of the night!"

    Its bad enough she got back to federation space, but I wish she didn`t keep popping up in the advertising space in IAB.

    dammit what have I been doing to deserve *that* as a personalised advert....
