How can the dog be so friendly so quickly with the species that had done such evil things to it...

Some people are cruel to animals because it is in their nature, others treat them this way because they`re enticed by lure of quick money. There are many `mills` out there, and it`s not just puppies who are suffering.

Evil: almost all animals can understand the language of love, plus he was young, so there`s no doubt the puppy was very happy to have this love in his life again. But some animals are not so fortunate, they grow old experiencing abuse, cruelty and neglect all their lives. Some times they are so far gone that they can`t be saved and need to be put down, because no one is safe around them. It`s really a shame when people, among the keepers of this planet, refuse to harness and lead by the power of love.

So you keep breeding smaller bodies, and eventually the brain is squeezed into a smaller skull. Thus explaining the usual manic behavior of small dogs. They have been bred to have a brain disorder by design.

Neither of my dogs are rescues. They`re both purebred from breeders.

Yep, I`m a terrible human being.

Nubblins: If you give them a good life that is all that matters. Granted rescues are better but the puppy was born and it is better for `em to have a good owner than someone to own it that is going to abuse it.

We got two rescue cats....I hate them.
Whatever happened to them has left them scarred and they are lousy pets.
They want nothing to do with us, just feed and maintain them for life. And the one-eyed one throws up at least twice a day, sometimes as much as 5 times! His preferred puke spot being on the bed. The vet says they`re healthy and will live a long time... damn it.

Really, rescue animals are too damaged. Put them down humanely. And put the abusers down as well, just not as humanely.

Gerry: I`m sorry you got some problem cats, but that`s no reason that this dog, or my first cat who was also a rescue (a stray gone feral), should be killed for the sake of a sweeping generalization.

aj, how is that clean? o.o I couldn`t tell if what I think was feces was actually feces, but the one he pulled out of the cage was walking around in pee, the water wasn`t clean, the cage was rusted...

I have a rescue dog, but technically her mom was the rescue. She came to the rescue while pregnant with pups. We rescued a dog when I was pretty young who lived to be about 17 years old. 2 of our pets are from shelters and 1 was free from someone who found an outside cat with kittens. As much as I like certain breeds I`d have a really hard time buying from a breeder because I`m just gonna keep them as pets and mixed breeds are just as good at being pets as purebreds.

The cage the down syndrome dog this is about. His cage has like, a little piss puddle, and white paper.

Maybe it was re-shot for posterity after the raid?

On almost all cages you can slide the bottom part without opening the cage door. Maybe thats how they cleaned it.

Mixed breeds in both cats and dogs, but especially cats, are the best!
All dogs and cats sold in "pet stores" or even by breeders should have a huge fee, $100 a cat or $300 per dog, or more, while those from rescue shelters would not.
Dry up the demand and the supply... stops!

Too bad @Gerry1, some pets really are too damaged or just plain insane! I`ve put up with Leibshen`s nutty behaviour for years now, she`s finally cuddly (in her own way) but still hates the other cat (Moo-Kitty, who is scared of her own shadow).

He could have food allergies. You could try a hypoallergenic cat food, but those cost a little more. But come on @Gerry, cats are basically just tenants anyway. My gf has a rabbit that wants nothing to do with people and hates being touched, and it`s not even a rescue...and it`s a rabbit.

    Gerry1of1- lmfao

My cat who is wonderful, handsome and so loving pukes all the freaking time! DRIVES ME NUTS!

Same as you- healthy, can`t find anything wrong.

And he`s a jerk about it, sometimes RUNNING across the house while puking making clean up extra time consuming.

Heh, thanks. My pups are both spoiled. I have had problems with rescues as Gerry has. If I rescued a dog or cat, it would have to be young enough for me to mold, because the last older cat that I got had all kinds of emotional issues and was just a pain in the ass.

So i watched the thing about the rescued puppy and one question still lingers. If there are puppy mills, where do they sell the powdered puppy? `Cause just about anywhere you can get baby powder and baby oil.
