    But at least they are helping bring down teh cost of robotics for the masses, my mapping capable robot lawnmower is within reach!

    Amazing. But friggin` creepy. without attempting to be too cynical, what advantages would one of these have over, say, an actual donkey? I get that it wouldn`t be spooked by gunfire, but you try to move it in sight of the enemy and there goes tens of thousands of dollars at least.
