Atta is a fairly common name in some parts of the wprld and Diarra is an African word meaning `gift`. Abeer is both arabic and hebrew, meaning fragrance. Peniel is hebrew for face of god and is a place name in Wales. Manases is also hebrew, meaning making forgetfulness, but is generally used in spanish.

Strummer`s not a bad name, maybe his parents were Clash fans. Juvenal suggest a taste for the classics.

Kingdom as a fore-name was good enough for Isambard Kingdom Brunel, who did well for himself.

And Abeer is an Arabic name. But I suppose many of you on here have never left your own city...

Get out, travel, learn something!

I doubt that very many of them were born rich, but it`s almost certain that they will all die in poverty.

On a serious note, while these parents think they`re being cute and indulging their own desires for creative self-expression, they`re condemning their kids to ridicule and ostracization, and they are completely wrecking any chance they might have for any kind of decent career. At the very least, these kids ought to be able to go to court and legally change their names when they turn 18 and force their idiot parents to pay the cost.

I went to high school with a girl named Abeer. It`s an actual Muslim name with a meaning behind it.

at least none of these kids were named after anything really ethnic. Koolaid, chitlin, collards, dank, endo, blunt, spliff, krunk... the list goes on...

moichido1, it`s saying that each of those names are the names of 5 boys. So there`s 5 boys named Trew, 5 boys named Atta, etc.

"Prosperity" and "Comfort" sound like really old-fashioned girls` names (Patience, Temperance, etc) gone just a little wrong.

"With "Kdynce" especially - I`m certain they think it`s "Candice." "

Actually my guess would be Cadence...

What the frick is wrong with "Adam" or "Sarah"?
Is this unique to the US? (genuine question, I`m curious)
If not, it`s a sorry reflection that the little baby has to be given an "original" name in order to show how special they are (or how badly the parents cannot spell)

Unfortunately I am increasingly less I-Am-Bored, more I-Am-ANNOYED WITH THE STUPIDITY

I can already see the indignation on the parents` faces each time somebody mispronounces their child`s name. With "Kdynce" especially - I`m certain they think it`s "Candice."
