Alternate title: Malcolm in the Middle meets Breaking Bad. Amazing how much one role can change an actor.

i watched every episode of this show over the course of a week or so, it was great, but they really should have finished the current season already.. these `mid=season` breaks are kind of lame, especially now that it`s going to be like the summer when the next episode airs, if not the fall

Two years between shows, makeup and lighting. Doesn`t change the fact he`s a great actor

"through chemo he lost his head hair, but it never occurred to their makeup guys that he`d lose his moustache and goatee too, not to mention his eyebrows, etc. I know that later on he just kept the bald head, but still, whilst that part of the story was playing out, you`d think they`d have got rid of the beard at least."

Chemo can be a bit random like that... the first time i needed it I kept some hair in my eyebrows, eyelashes, beard (not tache though) and little hairs on my big toes...everywhere else went.

2nd time was stronger stuff before a bone marrow transplant and all of it fell out, but later than the first time.

Radiotherapy changed the colour of some of my hair and there`s one little basta*d one at the back of my neck that grows every few weeks and feels like 13amp fuse wire, so much so i can feel that one hair poking out among the others and get my missus to pull it out cause it drives me mad

It`s amazing how much lighting can change a person`s looks.

If the lighting were the same, he would look exactly the same in both halves.

The only think that`s really changed is the lighting.

He is a good actor, and Breaking Bad is a good show, but it did always annoy me that when he was going through chemo he lost his head hair, but it never occurred to their makeup guys that he`d lose his moustache and goatee too, not to mention his eyebrows, etc. I know that later on he just kept the bald head, but still, whilst that part of the story was playing out, you`d think they`d have got rid of the beard at least.

Just saw a couple of seinfield episodes lately where he plays a dentist, totally different again. I think he`s an extraordinary actor and being able to throw yourself into a role to the point that it can change your personality (as shown in this picture) is amazing. I`ve often wondered what it would be like to live with an actor that goes right into their roles and become someone else completely.

OldOllie, If you would watch the show, Walter White does not use meth.

And Fancy, the actor Bryan Cranston is not Walter White. Out of character, he acts nothing like him. Bryan Cranston is not changed. Maybe you mean our perception of him has changed.

@Draculya - it`s the same actor. It`s years later, a haircut, makeup, etc. difference on the right side. But the role is what changed him.

Fancy is a douche.

Alternate title: Amazing how 6+ years, lighting, a haircut, facial hair, and not smiling can change how you look. ASTOUNDING! [insert sarcasm here]
