Christians judging other Christians...true 2000 years ago and, unfortunately, true today. Sad...

I`d like to walk up to him and punch him in the face. When God does not intervene, I`ll simply state that his lack of faith prevented God from coming to his aid.

Stupid logic.

Why are people surprised? If you`re Christian, you should believe that your God is a vengeful God, quite unforgiving and `allowing` whatever the hell happens and has happened on this planet. If you`re a Christian, how can you not agree with whatever these nutcases say? I mean: you may not know WHY God allows those things, but since they happen he DOES allow it, right? Or do I simply not get this whole religion thing? I hope I don`t.

so what you are saying is... if politicians "take god out of schools" then god will kill a bunch of children out of spite?
This man is sick and should be ashamed of himself. Blaming the victims for a school shooting!! Is there anything lower?! How does he know how devout those particular innocent little children were?! A$$hat!

Not necessirly Christianity. God exists in every relegion. Even as a concept of the super natural judge after life. This by itself if tought in schools is great way of controllig people and making the best out of this F%*Cked up humanity. By the way, is this considered terrorisim or just insane desperate mother F%cker who was not hugged when he was a child? ignoranttttttttttttssss
"When it comes to allowing all people the privilege to worship how, where, or what they may, the government MUST stand idly by."
Not strictly true. If your religion says to wear a burqua at all times, you can`t wear it in a bank. You have to remove the face covering for a drivers license photo. There are limits of how much a religion can impose.

FoolsPrussia, you left out the other half of the equation. The government cannot impose religion in schools, but it also cannot prevent it. When it comes to allowing all people the privilege to worship how, where, or what they may, the government MUST stand idly by.

This guy inadvertently contradicts himself. We`ve had school massacres while there`s been publicly funded prayer in school.

They are disgusting. GOD goes where he wants to go. The argument that this happened because we don`t want GOD in our schools is a digrace and sad that any christian would even utter the statement.

hmm, he starts with a good question.. "where was god?"

Then he starts answering as if there is a god that can intervene the actions of individuals...

Even if you do believe in god, which is a choice i will support anyone that takes it.. But in the bible it allready sais that on this world, yur on yur own.. god may walk with you but he wont activly intervene.. See, thats the good thing about that.. if something pooty happens you can either say it is gods will, or it is punishment forabandoning god..

but hiding behind the god you feel should protect you basicly is another way of abolishing yourself and others of responcibility and in a way, explain why poo happens..

Thing is, wether you activly believe in a god or not.. poo happens.. it hurts, its unfair and it bites big times... And it happens. please stop trying to explain it or defend it from a reliegious p.o.v.

Within the first 20 seconds this guy showed himself to be utterly full of poo.

"God is not gonna go where he is not wanted."

Luke 5:30-31 "(30) But the Pharisees and the teachers of the law who belonged to their sect complained to his disciples, `Why do you eat and drink with tax collectors and sinners?` (31) Jesus answered them, `It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick.`"

Nice try, pal. Your weak attempt at deflection failed miserably. Get off the podium, you idiot.

Lord, save me from your followers.

The source you are looking for is generally attributed to Epicurus, an ancient Greek philosopher who lived 341 BCE – 270 BCE. This is called the Epicurean Riddle, The Epicurean Paradox or the argument for "The Problem Of Evil."

"Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?"

I don`t know the source, but to paraphrase:

If God sees evil and can do nothing about it, he is not omnipotent;
If God sees evil and declines to do anything about it, he is not benevolent.
If he is neither omnipotent nor benevolent, why do we call him God?

Okay, here`s what pisses me off: God IS allowed in school. No US court has ever, EVER, said that a person can`t individually pray in school. No US court, EVER, has said that a person can`t bring their Bible to school for personal use. The ONLY thing not allowed in school is a specific religion being FORCED onto student by someone in a leadership position leading prayer, requiring worship, etc.

To say God`s not allowed is school is just more right wing nut job tactics.

"God is not allowed in school but the bible is encouraged in prison. maybe allow him in school and these kids will not go to prison"

Again, it`s perfectly okay to pray in schools. Nobody has banned God from the schools. The school cannot make anyone pray. That`s all.

And if God is encouraged in prison, it certainly isn`t helping much. Recidivism statistics in the USA are quite high. Recidivism in the USA

Something else I find ironic about this whole point of view is that these guys want to trade one constitutional right for another. If they want to argue that guns are allowed by the 2nd amendment, why do they want to challenge the constitutional decree that the government cannot impose religion in schools?

The American Family Association is a hate group. I would expect nothing less from Bryan Fischer, but hearing this from someone that has run for the office of President is sickening and quite disturbing. Why are these hateful and divisive men allowed on TV? I think I just answered my question with the question.

I keep hearing this argument from people. Nobody has banned God from schools. Anyone can pray in public school if they so desire. The school just cannot impose prayer.

If he`s God, he`s omnipotent and he`s there anyway.

So much wrong, and so few characters to describe it.

So in this first video free exercise of religion is when the school board demands/forces prayer in the schools. Looks like someone doesn`t even understand the words he is saying. And yes we took out god of schools in the 60`s after going through Mccarthyism in the 50`s and realized it was bull.

To the second video, this altercation started in the shooter`s home by killing his mother and stealing her guns, say what you want about the schools but their home. What doesn`t god make housecalls? If there was a way god could have prevented it, it was in the home. Would have stopped this tragedy at the source.

But all of this is moot, just like MSNBC was saying lack of gun control was responsible, Fox is saying lack of god in the schools was responsible. Both are copouts and neither address the serious underlying cause, but only pander to their viewers fears during a time of crisis in an attempt to show that they a

So effin` sickening. That first video is a perfect example of religion dying out for the better; so Americans can shake that religious nutjob look off. Praying doesn`t do CRAP.

"Where was God"? Nowhere, because the only way for a situation to be solved is by humans helps each other. Not getting on your knees and hoping the situation gets fixed. Telling "God" to eff off is the best thing you can do as it gets people to physical help others.

Not only that but pushing your religious(non-related) agenda on a school shooting is sick.

These people disgust me. This is a tragedy that will be remembered around the world, not because some supernatural figment of peoples` imagination allowed it to happen, but because it happened. Unfortunately, when you live in reality, even when your mind is deluded by fantasy, things like this happen.
