Once you get some of those mid-western states in place, it gets easier.
@LillianDulci: I know! Wyoming I missed by a mile, but I got Kansas perfectly! (It was the very last state, lolz!)
@markust: I agree, it`s easier or harder depending on what order you get.

I missed Hawaii by 3,575 miles... oops! (j/k!)

82%, 40 miles, cos 1) I`m a Brit 2) The stupid thing gave me all the anonymous ones in the middle at the beginning. Bastard. You try and locate Switzerland on a blank map of Europe - same fricking problem.

So I did it again, and... damnit, I only got down to 36 miles.

@cobrakiller: I think @Patchouly is pulling you-all`s leg. Yes, Canada`s 10 Provinces and 3 Territories are super-easy to place on a map... if you happen to know that Canada even exists!

Europe would be super-easy too! Except for all those tiny places in the former Yugoslavia, and some mapping weirdness from the former USSR...

I know where Liechtenstein, Monaco, Aandora & Luxemburg are! Moldova? Not so much...

5cats, I thought about it, and it could be pretty easy for some to f*ck up alberta and saskatchewan if they are unfamiliar with canada. I was lucky enough to grow up just across the detroit river from windsor, ontario, so I have a little bit of an edge.

    I got 94% in 194 sec with a 9 mile average error.

Although I live here. Plus I got lucky with the ones they gave me first.

I would also like to dispute that 16 mi. and 88%. It should be 100% and zero miles. I strongly suspect the person who made the map had a problem with depth perception.

markust, I will give him the benefit of the doubt on this one. I got ninety-something percent with a 9mile off my first try. This is because I had kansas as my first state. So, if I had an easier state first, I believe I could have gotten 100%.

But that is the thing cobrakiller, you pretty much always get a middle state and even if you know where it goes you`re usually off by enough because this thing is so tight. Try to get 100% it is very hard. I was laid off a few years back and decided to learn my states for some reason. I played a game like this many times this one week. Even with that in my head it was still really hard to get 100% on this one. I kept having to restart it. Out of your benefit of doubt though I did delete my original post. I was being a bit of a dick.

@cobrakiller: Canada`s map would be easy! The 3 territories: their shapes give them away. Same for Ont and Que. BC is on one coast (easy) NS, NB and PEI are on teh other (easy!) Can`t miss Newfoundland... only Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba remain! And Manitoba looks like this:

@HolyGod: Thanks! If I find something fun? I drag it to IAB!
You are 100% correct: naming the provinces in Germany, England or even Mexico would be inpossible! (for me!)

A lot of high scores! IAB = smart!
And low ones for non-US residents is perfectly acceptable! lolz!
