Link: No Wonder Obama Won: ALL The People Love Him! - In Ohio he got 90%, 95% even 99% of the ballots cast. One precinct? 108%! All when Repub monitors were ``removed``...

Bogus "facts" from an opinion site. Many places had more than 1 card per voter which increases the turnout.

    From one of the comments:
"This data is bogus. The over 100% is based on cards counted. There were two cards per voter. The actual results are posted at the county web site at: here

The statement of cards cast is also there. There was 70% voter turnout. BTW, Roseanne Barr got 145 votes for President there."

It`s not that hard to Google and find out those "facts" are bogus.

The results over 100% (Boston and St. Lucie County, FL for two) are from geniuses counting ballot PAGES instead of voters.

Give it up. You look ridiculous. Obama won.

In the Ninth Ward, Mr. Obama won districts D-G with a paltry total of 1,740 to... 3.

@LillianDulci: HOW does doublecard explain THAT? It`s like winning the lottery 11 times in a rwo... it`s statistically impossible! But it only seems to have happened when Republican Vote Monitors were kicked out on a technicality (long story).

FLORIDA had the double-card, NOT Ohio, not Pennsylvania (afaik!)

And it still wouldn`t change the IMPOSSIBLE vote numbers in 44 (says the article) districts... OR the "odd coincidance" that these things happeded under Democrat "scutineers" watch...

Weird that conservatives just can`t imagine why they might have lost an election after running on an anti-women`s rights, anti-gay rights, anti-immigrant, anti-contraception, anti-sex ed, anti-Muslim, anti-Obama/Democrat campaign. But, I have to say, I`m actually quite happy that they haven`t figured it out! I hope they do it again in two years! Shine on, you wonderful 5Cats! Shine on!

LOL @ 5Cats. It`s so funny when a person who is greedy, selfish and only thinks of themselves is surprised when they lose the respect of the population. The crazy, heartless Re-bubblehead-icans should crawl under a rock, back where they came from. The normal Republicans should have a right to a normal representation, without it being soured by all sorts of crazy.

I won`t vote for a guy that runs on ethics that should have been ditched in the 1800`s. Look, if y`all WANT to discuss WHY the Repub failed, go ahead! It`s not like there`s moderation on the boards (and the Chatroom is LOCKED!!!) have fun!

The fact is that much vote fraud was EASILY discouvered, by amatures, and will the "Officials" even look at it? NOPE! BEcause it favours THEIR BOY and that means it cannot be fraud!

The Attorney General: Eric Holder, appointed BY Obama, refused to allow investigations in 2008, why should now be any different?

Why did Romney lose? LOTS of reasons, but I fail to see how any of them could justify FRAUD...

I`ve got, like, 10 reasons why Romney lost, NONE of them involve "vast LEFT-wing conspiracies" FFS!

The reason Mitt Romney lost is because he was a horrible candidate. During the primaries the other candidates attacked him relentlessly. Big Republican donors attacked him relentlessly during the primaries. Mitt Romney attacked himself relentlessly by repeatedly sticking his foot in his mouth. The people did not want another Republican president who speaks before he thinks.

In real and verifiable election news, part of the surprise voter turn out may have been a strong reaction from voters against willful and admitted attempts of voter suppression via legislation in PA and obvious partisan suppression efforts in OH. Remember the whole deal with Republican Turzai saying that new voter ID laws would "allow Governor Romney to win the state of Pennsylvania." Remember the limitation of early voting and increased requirements on provisional ballots? Did they think people weren`t paying attention?

RoboPatton, perhaps you missed it, but the moderate governor Romney wasn`t running. It was some guy saying that 47% of the country (nearly HALF THE COUNTRY!!!) wasn`t going to vote for him because they`re free-loading, non-tax payers who are addicted to, dependent upon government hand outs! Think about that for a second. Think *any( candidate could win after alienating such a huge block of the voting public?! And then look at the conservative base of the party. Anti-woman, what with the "legitimate rape" and pregnancy from rape being god`s will. No candidate can win like that, alienating so much of the voting public.

    Blog. Hmmm.

Pundit Press, well that sound unbiased and reasonable.

All ads selling anti-obama and conservative merchandise, I`m sure that`s just a coincidence.

A link that shows that Obama won 420,000 to 184,000 in a heavily democratic area? Hmmmmm. Expected.

Cherry pick a few areas in heavily urban, heavily black areas where Romney didn`t get a single vote? I feel like we would have heard something earlier if Romney was doing poorly with black voters....

"But Ohio`s not important in the electoral college, right?"

Actually, as it turns out, nope. Not important at all.

I don`t really care about most of this, but I saw the ever-endearing SmagBoy talk about voter ID laws.

You know a country where you have to show an ID to vote? The Netherlands. Damn racist Dutch.

Also, I was unaware of Romney`s initiatives to ban condoms. And I was unaware that nearly 45% of women are against themselves. And if you take white women, the single biggest segment of the electorate at 38%, an easy majority of these anti-woman women went for Romney. Anti-Muslim? No difference between Obama and Bush. Come of it, mate.

Did Fox News run a story about it 24/7? No, no and no is the answer. Yet you believed it hook line and sinker. Republicans are the biggest sore loser sorry ass whiners I`ve ever seen. I don`t feel bad dogging on these self-assured losers. I saw it after passage of healthcare, I`m seeing it now.

Waah waaaah waaaaahhhhhhh. And I have to admit, I take great joy in seeing reality smack them all in the face. For weeks they created this fantasy world in their heads, convincing themselves this country is composed of equal parts democrats and republicans - the polls showing +6 Dems MusT be skewed! Oops! Turns out you ARE outnumbered!

    "Anti-Muslim?"

Are you serious Andrew155. The republicans may have toned down the anti-Muslim rhetoric by the time of the election but it was going wild the first three years of Obama`s Presidency. You don`t remember all the Mosques the haters tried to block from being built around the country, calling them terrorist recruiting centers? You don`t remember the Imam`s being called terrorist? Muslim`s are not just going to forget that quickly the hatred that was directed at their community by conservatives.

Markust - just like Hispanics aren`t suddenly going to join the republican party after years of demonizing brown people with racist "immigration" laws - oh NOW you like Hispanics, huh? After they whoop your ass? Oh sure, in 2-4 years, after you finally stop obstructing immigration reform, they`ll all forget about your tea party rallies and thinly veiled racial rhetoric you used to gin up the scaredycat white vote. Whelp, scaredycat white folks are getting older and dying. You lost hispanics for a generation, a sudden mea culpa in the short term will be seen for what it is - the desperate pandering of a caucasian-centric party based in the racist south, hoping to fend off demographic death. "You know a country where you have to show an ID to vote? The Netherlands. Damn racist Dutch."

It isn`t the voter ID laws that are racist simpleton. I haven`t heard anyone ever that was against voter ID. If they are they are as dumb as you. It is the fact that it was not a national initiative, it was only in swing states where republicans needed to ogress poor and minority votes to win and it was the fact that they tried to do it a couple months before the election. If you can`t look at that objectively and realize it was a tactic to intentionally block legitimate Obama voters than you really are as retarded as some of us think you are.

Where are those same republicans now? Do you think we`ll be hearing about their concerns any time soon? Do you think they will be pushing for voter ID laws right now so that people have enough time to get ID before the next election? No, of course not. We won`t hear about them trying again until a few month

I`m not calling you dumb because you have a difference of opinion. I`m calling you dumb if you are telling me that attempts to require ID in Virginia, Ohio, and Pennsylvania a few months before the election was not clearly a calculated partisan attempt to suppress vote. No, @markust, actually I believe NOTHING that I read about him. I make my own mind up:

#1 I look at his DEEDS, not his skin colour
#2 I remember his promises and compare them to his actions
#3 I observe how much he`s "covered up" in his own past, in his polices, or in his plans...
#4 I look at the Economy, Unemployemnt, Debt, Deficit and say... WTF! How did this clown get re-elected?

The answer is simple: Free Stuff + MSM bigotry.

Also Romney ran a `poor` campaign, doesn`t help matters. No need for me to expand on that, the IAB-Libtards Crew does it ON EVERY POST...

Vermont has a major secessionist movement. Why didn`t you bring them up?

Or Hawaii? (they`re mostly "darkies", too.)

Texas could even be considered different. They were an independent and sovereign nation that agreed to join the union. These "darkies" you speak of fought for independence from Mexico along with anglos.

"#4 I look at the Economy, Unemployemnt, Debt, Deficit and say... WTF! How did this clown get re-elected? "

Yep. That is why I voted for him. The economy is doing better by almost every non partisan metric I could find. Unemployment is down over 2% since it`s peak in his first year (i know I know those aren`t the REAL numbers right?). Debt and deficit have been getting out of control since 1980, so, while I agree it is a problem, I don`t blame Obama for it.

"When you say "darky". Your race baiting is absolutely disgusting."

My point is that there are lots of groups that want secession so WHY would crakr only bring up the group that is composed of minorities? That doesn`t strike you as bigoted?

"Vermont has a major secessionist movement. Why didn`t you bring them up? "

Perfect. Add to my point. This isn`t a democrat republican thing it is a white / mexican thing. So show one more group that wants to secede that crakr apparently has no issue with.

"The answer is simple: Free Stuff + MSM bigotry."

    1. If people only vote for Obama because they are getting free stuff then explain why the people who were getting more free stuff under Bush than any period in history voted against him overwhelmingly in 2004? Keep in mind, before Obama was the food stamp president, Bush increased the number more than anyone in history.

    2. If you don`t agree with what the media reports, whether it is true or not, you are going to feel they are biased. All anyone wants to hear is their only beliefs affirmed. The flat earthers probably think the media is biased for reporting the Earth is round.

It is well established that FLORIDA has a different system, BUT that in no way explains the OTHER TWO states involved.

The REAL problem is that many stations reported voting trends which are absolutely impossible! NO station in the USA could have 95% vote for ONE candidate from either side! Ever! Nevermind 99%!!! Lottery win X11...

Yet 44 (or more) counties did in THIS election, but only when the Democrats were left in charge?

Is it fair to make some people wait years and work hard to get citizenship here and then allow others who didn`t work for it to get it handed to them?

Living in the borders of our free and propserous country shouldn`t be a privilege.

Not only that but there is a significant portion of the hispanic population, called La Raza, that wants to tear the southwest away from America and form their own nation. Should we be allowing those sort of secessionists into America?

They`re doing nothing wrong with "talking the talk", to that end we shouldn`t have soldiers stationed in Afghanistan and elsewhere around the world and instead keep them here in case they ever decide to "walk the walk".

You are a joke to most people on this site.

When I first started participating here I tried to engage in intelligent, rational, fact-based discourse. However people like you and crakr make it impossible. We can never even get to the debate because we can`t agree on what reality is. We spend 20 comments arguing over whether Obama should get credit for Jan 2009`s job losses when HE WASN`T EVEN PRESIDENT FOR MOST OF IT.

I have you telling me 2009`s deficit in on Obama`s tab when anyone who knows anything about economics knows the previous administration sets the new president`s first fiscal year.

I have Crakr telling me that my irrefutable data doesn`t matter because he remembers seeing something different on TV 30 years ago.

It is infuriating and it isn`t really fun anymore. So go ahead and believe whatever form of reality you want. I really don`t care.

Romney got beat by a landslide because Obama was a better candidate. 332 to 206 is an ass whoopin. Obama got 51% of the popular votes. That is over half of the votes. He beat Romney by over 3 million votes. If you followed Nate Silver`s blog you knew this election was never close. The media just made it appear close to keep people tuned in. I never had any doubt that Obama would win. Not one bit. I was following Nate`s blog and he nailed the election with 100% accuracy.

p.s. Thanks for removing whatever the comment was about me being involved with Jews and ovens. I appreciate that.
You`re welcome. I got carried away, wondered how exactly my tirade had anything to do with the issue, decided "nothing" and deleted it... my bad, not fit for public, & etc.

Unlike others on IAB who constantly strike "below the belt"? I draw a line! In the name of common decency.

Yes! Yes it is! One wonders why "Team Obama" resorted to cheating at all! We`ll never know because the AG will NEVER ASK!

PS: idk If I`ve mentioned it, but I`m happy to repeat:

@CrakrJak: I used to abbriviate his name, but out of respect I no longer do! Why? Because h8ers call him "Cracker" and whatnot, and his nick-name has nothing to do with "crackers" of the southern (Democrat) variety!

The 2009 budget Obama signed took effect on Oct. 1, 2009. You know this <TROLL> yet you continue to ask about it. So, until Sept 30th, YES it = BUSH`s responsibility. You know this also <TROLL>.

    "Are ALL of Bush`s Oct.1 2001 decisions Clinton`s fault?"

No, just the budget. Are you really stupid enough to think the budget controls ALL presidential decisions, including invasions? Wow, either TROLL or idiot, you choose.

No argument there, but that is totally irrelevant to your assertion that "Republicans never say that."

MOST things that happened in 2009 are Obama`s responsibility, the good and the bad. Just NOT THE BUDGET. You claim to judge Obama on his deeds and broken promises, but you seem to be blind to the horrible crap and lies that Bush did in his eight years. You are using a totally different yardstick for Obama than for any other president. "Waah! He broke his promises!" ALL presidents make promises they can`t/don`t meet. Every damn one of them! If you truly looked at his deeds, you`d see some good, some bad, just like EVERY other president. But Obama seems to always be the absolute worst in your world. He ain`t that different. He ain`t that bad. (And Bishop Romney would have been infinitely worse.)

    5. Obama came in during a massive economic nosedive. Nobody can dispute that. I just don`t see how you can start blaming him day 1, like how many jobs were lost his first full month in office. NOBODY could have stopped that. The fact that things have been getting better ever since that first year is why I voted for him.

    6. The election is over. Obama won. We`ll see if things get better and I`m right or if the world explodes and you`re right. I don`t see any reason to debate it anymore. It has completely lost any entertainment value for me. It is just too frustrating.

However I take economics and politics seriously so I don`t make comments that are even border lining trolling.

    2. I was incorrect in the post you linked to. In my recollection the angel came down and told her that she would have the baby, meaning she was already pregnant. However I went back and read it and saw that he tells her she will conceive. So I absolutely admit I was wrong on that.

The first was International Business Times. The very first line reads, "Move to Canada, eh? Conservative Americans are thinking about it." That ALONE pretty much shreds your "Republicans don`t say that" claim. But you are still arguing the point?

The second was examiner.com (owned by Republican Philip Anschutz) that links to credible NEWS STORIES which reference tweets in their story titled, "Disappointed Republicans display woeful ignorance of Australia, Canada" (which also proves you wrong, eh?) The twitter accounts and tweets are still there and verifiable.

The third was cnn.com with the quote "This election cycle... most of the calls "tended to be conservative or Romney supporters. There were not as many from the other side, so maybe they had kind of a premonition."

Face it, dude. You were wrong. I`ve proven you wrong. Just admit it and move on.

Should we be allowing those sort of secessionists into America?
If they have come here legally, then yes. The possibility of secession is a fundamental aspect of any balanced republic. It is the ultimate check on federal power by the states.

Without this, states are no longer sovereign and are nothing more than puppets for the federal government. It is better to part as friends than to remain as enemies.

This is the reason than Lincoln will never appear on my top ten presidents list.

HumanAction: Secession has been ruled illegal by the Supreme Court. Which means it could never be done peacefully, which means people would die.

The ultimate power of the people is revolution, not secession. We aren`t quite at the point of disillusionment and disgust that it takes for that to happen, but we are speeding toward that point.

@Crakr: I purposefully worded my statement to say that secession is the ultimate check on federal power by the STATES (not the people) in a BALANCED republic.

I did not state that we are privy to a balanced republic, nor did I discuss the ultimate check on federal power by the people. In fact, I alluded to us not being a balanced republic when I stated that I dislike Lincoln because he destroyed the ability to secede.

However, I am all to willing to discuss. First off, I disagree that secession would lead to bloodshed. If Texas left, for instance, do you suppose that a civil war would begin? I do not.

In addition, the ultimate, as in most final and extreme, check on federal government by the people is emigration. After all other attempts, including the far-fetched revolution, emigration is the final check.

HumanAction: If Texas left, for instance, do you suppose that a civil war would begin? I do not.

If any state tried to secede it would take armed action and the Feds would not allow it, they`d use the military to take control of the state government. John F Kennedy was very close to doing just that in the 1960`s in the segregated south.

Secession is just not very likely, the Feds control the military now, whereas the states controlled it to a much higher degree in the 1800s.

That leaves countrywide revolution as the only remedy left, and even that would be a very long shot these days.

@Crakr: Perhaps - none of us really know. I am inclined to believe that it would not happen.

Let`s say that Texas decides that they don`t want to be part of the union anymore. One day, the governor kicks all federal employees out of the state and threatens to arrest them if they come back.

What then? Does the federal government send the military? I don`t think so. Let`s say they do though... Then what? Texas calls up the National Guard. I expect some of the other republican (small r) states come to their aid as well (ahem, yes you Wyoming).

Do you expect that you would see our military fighting the National Guard? Even if they are instructed to, I simply do not believe it would happen. Imagine the negative publicity for the current administration if federal troops attacked one of the states.

    Political suicide.

    1. I think you and a lot of people give too much credit and place too much blame on the President. The president is not in complete control. Now you can blame the administration for things, but directly blaming the president for things like benghazi or sep 11th is dumb in my mind.

    2. I have never even talked about Sep 11th so your assertion that I blame bush is false, see #1. I blame him for how he handled things after it.

    3. I think the president is in charge of most things day one. However there are some things that are outside of his control, like wars that were started beforehand, budgets that were started beforehand, or other things.

I decided I wanted to see how a state won decisively by Romney would look, so I chose Oklahoma. These are the numbers from one precinct:

    Romney: 178
    Obama: 15

    Romney wins 92%
    Here`s another:

    Romney: 184
    Obama: 22

    Romney wins 90%

    You didn`t answer my question:

Are you really telling me you think the jobs lost in March of 2009 when Obama had been in office for a month are HIS fault? Do you think anyone could have prevented that?

For me those jobs were going to be lost anyway and the things Bush and Obama did, like the bailouts, stopped the freefall. Look at the job numbers. They have been improving since the day Obama took office and the economy has been adding new jobs every month for 3 years. The only reason the cumulative looks bad, like that chart from last week, is because of the losses in the first 6 months which, in my opinion, nobody could rationally say are his fault.

I actually did something similar. I went to utah. Then I looked at the highest percentage for Romney in a county with reasonably high population. In Utah county there are dozens and dozens of precincts that went 96%, 98%, or 100% for Romney. You can view the precinct breakdown here: tinyurl.com/aulhed4

Now obviously these populations aren`t as high as in Cleveland because Utah doesn`t have that kind of population density. However you could put a million white suburban mormons in those precincts and they still would go for Romney 96%, 98%, or 100%.

Oh come on already, 5Rats! Are you really so freaking insecure that you can`t admit when you stated something wrong? You have got to have the thickest skull in history!

quote from link #1: "The spike has been driven by Web users in more or less conservative states such as Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, and Texas, as well as in liberal urban outposts in California and Illinois." Remember, you stated conclusively "Republicans don`t say that." Link #3 (cnn.com) quotes David Cohen, a Montreal-based immigration lawyer, saying most of the calls "tended to be conservative or Romney supporters." That alone PROVES you WRONG! Period. End of story.

How on earth can you continue this argument? To conclude that I have proven myself wrong is the stupidest thing you have ever said! (and that`s saying a lot!) Your very denial in the face of proof just shows your immaturity and your ignorance, so just admit you were wrong or STFU!

Here is the breakdown of all this. Obama doesn`t even need Ohio and Florida to reach 270 electoral votes. For Obama to have won illegitimately, this would mean there was a widespread and well-choreographed voter fraud operation. Here`s why that is highly unlikely:

    1) We went through discussions of voter fraud in previous elections when we discussed Voter ID, and there are very few examples in recent elections.

    2) The states Obama won all consistently polled in his favor in the days ahead of the election. Nate Silver correctly predicted every state in this election using this polling data.

5Rats says: "The day the PotUS is sworn in = his first day on the job = the buck stops there!"

No one is arguing that, EXCEPT FOR THE BUDGET. You seem to have trouble understanding the difference between calendar year and fiscal year. Obama started making decisions in Jan `09. Blame him or credit him all you want. BUT, he made no BUDGET decisions until Oct `09. Do you REALLY not understand that?

You don`t know when "the 9/11 plots began in earnest," do you? It could have been in the works since Reagan for all we know. Stick with facts and stop making stupid guesses. The FACTS as we know them are that Bush was warned REPEATEDLY, at least SEVEN TIMES (source) and did nothing. How can you NOT blame Bush for dropping the ball on 9/11?

    Results by precinct.

    AF10: 833 Votes: 95.69% Romney
    AL02: 702 Votes: 95.93% Romney
    CH02: 806 Votes: 97.23% Romney
    HI01: 703 Votes: 97.08% Romney
    HI08: 480 Votes: 97.62% Romney
    PG01: 789 Votes: 96.37% Romney

Now according to exit polls Romney only got 78% of the mormon vote. Obama got 97% of the black vote.

Now I picked one state and then picked one county and was able to find those kind of results. So there are obviously lots more out there.

Now if Romney can get 97.23% of 806 Votes in a Utah precinct do you really think it is so far fetched for Obama to get 100% of 1,008 votes in a black, poor, urban area?

Please give me your questions in !. 2. 3. format and I will in turn answer them in 1. 2. 3. format. I propose we do that for all debates moving forward. Fair?

In fact let`s set some ground rules:
    A. Points or questions are in 1. 2. 3. format.
    B. Responses must respond to all points in same format even if the response is "OK".
    C. Let`s try to give benefit of the doubt on intentional hyperbole, sarcasm, or jokes.
    D. All facts must have a link to support unless it has been previously established.
    E. FactCheck, politifact, CBO, BLS, etc are legitimate sources
    F. Blogs and biased sources are still valid if the information in the article is sourced to non partisan sources.

    Fair? Any additions?

"HG: 59 divisions in Philadelphia had ZERO votes for Romney... very highly statistically improbable."

    1. Do you know the number of votes in each? Are they significant? Because if there are less than 20 votes it isn`t that unusual. I found dozens of precincts without a vote for Obama in Utah, but they were precincts with between 4 and 18 votes.

    2. The black vote went 95% for Obama. That is the total black vote. There are lots of wealthy or middle class blacks that might be more drawn to Romney`s economic ideas and I don`t think it is a stretch to say that almost all of Romney`s 5% came from middle class and upper class blacks. Therefore I think it may be reasonable to postulate that Obama got 99%+ of the inner city poor black vote don`t you? So finding certain precincts, composed entirely of inner city poor blacks, that went 100% Obama doesn`t strike me as that improbable.

Here is the thing guys, If Obama gets 98% or 99% or 99.9% of the vote and you feel there was cheating then it may be legitimate. However YOU CAN NOT CHEAT AND GIVE OBAMA EVERY VOTE.

    Think about it.

All it would take is the one person who voted for Romney in that precinct to go on FOX News and say so and it would be proof that the votes were altered. It would blow the election apart.

So the precincts where Romney didn`t get a single vote are proof of how poorly Romney did in those areas.

Because the blog you posted is clearly lying about the voter fraud and you repeating that lie as fact is continuing the lie. If there was voter fraud like you are suggesting the news would be all over it. I could probably find a similar article in The Nation showing Romney districts that got 100% votes for Romney. Doesn`t mean there was fraud. Just means some districts are very heavy conservative or very heavy liberal.

Holy crap, you did not just try to prove you are not lying by repeating a second lie. The New Black Panther case was dismissed under Bush because not one single person who could vote in that precinct came forward to say they were intimidated. When the case was brought up the second time under Bush it was thrown out a second time by Obama`s team for the same reason Bush`s team threw out the first case - not one single person who could vote in that precint came forward to say they were intimidated. That was an all black precinct. Black people are not going to be intimidated by a black guy even if he is being a dick and swinging a club. The whole controversy is a Fox News created story. But way to prove how much of a liar you are.

"What date EXACTLY does the PotUS become responsible for what happens in the USA?"

That is a pretty open question.

If you are talking about spending the new Presidents budget does not start until Oct 1st of his first year. For instance George Bush`s Fiscal Year 09 budget was for Oct 1 2008 to Sep 30 2009. Obama did add I think $82,000 for what was spent during that time on his stimulus. But then again you know this. At one point you even agreed to it.

If you are talking about job losses there were a lot of jobs lost in Obama`s first two months but look at the charts and this was clearly a result of the months and months of job loses that happened during the previous administration. Obama didn`t get a grasp of the problem until May of his first year when the losses became gains and we have been gaining ever since.

"(Obama`s additions) amounted to just a tiny percentage of FY2009 spending — about $140 billion out of a $3.5 trillion budget"

"Let`s use an analogy. Obama`s FY2009 performance is like a relief pitcher who enters a game in the fourth inning trailing 19-0 and allows another run to score. The extra run is nothing to cheer about, of course, but fans should be far angrier with the starting pitcher."

This is from the CATO Institute. It is a libertarian leaning think tank. It is VERY conservative on economic policy and has been VERY critical of Obama. Nobody could call this a liberally biased source. Please read the article. It sums up this issue PERFECTLY.

If Romney won and took office Jan 20, 2013 in his first year the CBO projects unemployment will hit 9% and there will be $700B added to the debt. Would you be blaming Romney for those things? I sure wouldn`t. This isn`t bias. This is common sense.

If 1,000 Americans are killed in Iraq on March 1, 2009 it is Obama`s fault, but certainly not as much his fault as the president that started the war, planned the war, and put in place those that led the war effort.

If you see a chart of unemployment that shows a steady rise in umeployment from 5% on 04/08 to 10% on 10/09 then you have to be able to look at that and realize that there was probably nothing the guy who took office on 1/09 could do to stop it.

The budget however is cut and dry. everything for the fiscal year was laid out by the previous administration. I CAN"T believe we are still having this debate.

    tinyurl.com/aku9gny

Well, closest thing I`ll get to a straight answer it seems, I guess I`ll take it.
NOW will you stop being insulting about it?

1 - Obama signed his budget in Feb 2009: The spending didn`t wait until October, it started immediatly!
2 - The whole point of Election in November and Inauguration I January is so the PotUS CAN BE READY from DAY ONE!
3 - All spending during the `lame duck sessions` of Congress must be re-approved by the new Congress in Jan. (eg: GM`s bailout) Many iniatives from the Bush Era (eg: the Tax Cuts) ALSO were re-signed by Obama.

My point reamins: One cannot simply move the goalposts whenever it`s convenient.

My point also remains: 9/11/01 happened during Bush`s term. Even though it started before he took office, HE is the PotUS who has to deal with it!
Gitmo REMAINS open = Obama`s fault. Not "who opened it" that`s MOOT!
    Hope that`s clear...

"The final spending bills for the budget were not signed into law until March 11, 2009 by President Barack Obama, nearly five and a half months after the fiscal year began. "I am signing an imperfect omnibus bill because it`s necessary for the ongoing functions of government," Obama declared. "But I also view this as a departure point for more far-reaching change." [2"> This final bill also featured 7991 earmarks totaling nearly 5.5 billion dollars."
From the Wiki: 2009 US Federal Budget

Like I`ve been saying ALL ALONG: Obama had a huge role to play in the 2009 Budget, as well as passing the 2010 Budget, and a lot of other facts!

Imperfect as it may be, Jan 20 is the day his responsibility begings. I`ve never said exceptions CAN NEVER be made, DUH! But the budget = same rules for every PotUS.

Um, order in the Marines, airstrikes, support from just down the road?

Compare: Pre 9/11 vague talk of "a plot" with no people, targets or dates listed.
Pre Benghazi: Specific people, plot, target AND DATE were KNOWN to Clinton and Obama...

    @5Rats
These numbers may warrant some looking into, but it is not as "impossible" or fraudulent as you seem to think.

    From your own link:
"Many parts of Philadelphia and other big cities simply lack Republican voters, a fact of campaigning that has been true since Franklin D. Roosevelt`s New Deal, Stanford University`s Rodden said. In 2008, McCain got zero votes in 57 Philadelphia voting divisions."

So, Romney got zero votes in 59 this time instead of 57 for McCain? That just shows that Romney alienated even more people than McCain did.

And you seem to have dropped our little "discussion" without ever admitting you were wrong. Is that the best you can do? I expect it is physically/mentally impossible for you to ever admit that. Your head would explode or something, right?

@chalket: And then it goes on to suggest that may have been rigged too...

VERY selective in your reading skills, eh? It`s like you`re wearing "Rose Coloured Glasses" or something...

So no, you aren`t "correct" at all.
