Big deal. She`s a citizen and can support whomever she likes. Clint Eastwood is still a legend in my eyes, and I don`t care that he supports Romney.

I don`t really see the issue here. So, someone uses their celebrity status to indicate their support for a presidential candidate and that`s supposed to be a problem?

Regular joes and janes show their support by having signs in their yards and bumper stickers; corporations show it by throwing money at a candidate; and performers show it in their performance. Big deal. It doesn`t sway my vote, but it`s their right.

That`s a sad, sad list of has-beens for Romney. Did ya hear Meatloaf sing "America the Beautiful" the other day? Sounded like he was having a seizure.

I could not care less who any celebrity votes for...to be honest I could care less who anyone votes for...

If you want to go see a celebrity...be it a singer, musician, actor or actress...then you are accepting all that comes with them. If they have an opinion and want their fans to know, you as a fan needs to just deal with it.

Why is it a surprise that people have opinions? You think just because you idolize someone or like their entertainment value that they should agree with you on everything?

She`s entitled to her opinion, all of these celebs are, but if you`re basing your vote solely on whatever agenda Katy Perry (or Clint Eastwood or Oprah etc.) is pushing, instead of examining the policies and deciding what is in your best interest, maybe you should just stay at home election day. Sadly voting here in Australia is compulsory after you turn 18, and I`ve been so underwhelmed by our two major parties the last 3 elections that I just didn`t bother.

Hey Spermy, if the Commie Muslim Ass Hat wins, can I come live in Australia? I`d take "underwhelmed by our two major parties" over "being rapidly crushed into oblivion by the one currently in power" any day!

See, that`s part of the problem right there. What Katy Perry is doing there is *not* forcing her views on anyone. She`s expressing an opinion. However, let`s say that she was a state or federal legislator and was among those who passed a law forcing ALL citizens to vote for Obama/Biden. *That* would be forcing her political agenda on us. Kind of like Christians do with their anti-gay, anti-immigrant, anti-woman legislation. There really *is* a difference.
