Even after turning it off bc I couldn`t focus on the next i-a-b tab, I could still hear them.
Even checked the headset now resting around my neck & there wasn`t sound coming from it. >.<

It just sounded like being in a crowded area, because I kind of just tuned it all out and couldn`t understand a word besides "ssssssssshhhhhhtupid"

interesting.. i wonder how close it is to the real thing for those who experience it? Does medication quiet them totally or just turn the volume down?

My fiance has mild schizophrenia and he basically just heard mumbling but in two voices, like a conversation he was just out of range to hear and understand what they were saying completely.

Can see how that would drive someone crazy...

Thats not what schizophrenics here.

They dont actually hear "voices". WHat they "hear" are their thoughts as they have a physical defect in their brain which confuses them enough to be unable to distinguish actual thought and reality.

I can`t imagine hearing that constantly all day. No wonder people go nutty.

I lasted 2 minutes before I`d had enough and I`m so lucky that I can just switch it off.

Gee I-A-B - I used to be able to send e-mails of your content to my friends via the `share` drop-down feature. Too bad everything but facebook and del.icio.us are blocked out by useless minutia below.

"lystypoos, schizophrenia is not the same thing as multiple personality disorder."

Damn..sorry.... I did wonder whether to google it and look it up on wikipedia, or maybe even telephone my psychiatrist cousin for advice before making a very light-hearted and obviously tongue-in-cheek joke, but sadly didn`t bother.

I`ll know for next time though now.

alright, so its the voices that are in the back of our heads all of the time, except coming across as audible to the sufferer. I think it a little better now.

My ex had the opposite of schizophrenia... no personalities at all.

Something`s wrong with it.
I didn`t hear anything unusual with it.

The beginning and end parts sounds like what I`d imagine demonic possession sounding like.
