Not quite true. There was possibility of peace before the 6-day war in 1967. Yes there was tension, but at least there was room for negotiation, then Israel attacked without warning (preemptive war, anyone?) and stole butt-loads of territory.

Perhaps that has something to do with WHY they`ve been continually trying to eradicate them since 1968. Would you allow Canada to bomb all the Northeast and "annex" much of New England without a fight or even some ill-will? You seem to expect the Arabs to do just that. How does that make any sense?

Are you saying the Palestinians HADN`T been there for a few millenia? Think again. And try looking up this little thing called the diaspora. The Jewish people had been removed from the area starting around 600 BCE. I don`t disagree that they deserve a Jewish state to call their homeland, but don`t the Palestinians deserve at least the same? Israel doesn`t seem to believe it or want to allow it. That`s just not right.

Yep, They were there far longer than a few decades try a fe millenia. I also refuse to side with a people that use children as shield, safe harbor terrorist groups and still stone people to death call it a hunch.

I am far from a scholar on this so please be gentle with me, but my understanding is:
-In 1948 the UN split up Palestine into 2 states, basically taking land from the Arabs and giving it to the Jewish people who had been emigrating there for decades.
-The Arab people didn`t like that idea, so they fought a war over it (Israel and UK vs. Jordan, Egypt, Lebanon, Syria and Iraq).
-Israel won, so borders were drawn up basically where the UN decided they should be.
-In 1967 Israel preemptively attacked their neighbors, stealing Gaza, the Sinai, the Golan Heights, the West Bank and East Jerusalem, more than doubling the size of the country in 6 days; which was roundly criticized by the UN.
-And they`ve been fighting over those occupied territories ever since...

I know that`s rather simplified, but is that about right? And somehow you all think Israel is in the right?

Indeed.

There was a lot of media frenzy when Israel attacked a school in Lebanon. What wasn`t reported was the fact that the school was being attacked because it was being used as a military base for Hezbollah mortar and gun fire. They don`t care if a few kids get killed in the crossfire. it`s win win.

And to all those who bleat about human rights in Gaza and the West Bank...you`re silence with regard to the horrific atrocities happening in Syria is deafening. But then why let that get in the way of your disguised Jew hating?

Why does this video surpise anybody? The terrorist scum that is hamas along with their terrorist scum friends like hezbollah have been using children as human shields and political propaganda since this whole thing began. And the world listens and is taken as fools by these propaganda experts.

They try their best to win the war in the media because they have no chance of winning it on soil nor do they have any intention to settle this peacefully by negotiation.

@McGovern1981 So if the UN were to tell the US that its government no longer has any authority over its lands, and that its lands now belong to the natives, you should be fine with it then. If the UN were to suddenly tell the US government that it is now owned by China and that the Chinese are free to kill any American they want, imprison any American they want, and torture any American they want, you should be fine with it then. You can`t have it both ways and not be a hypocrite.

"@Listypoo: Israel demanding that rockets NOT be raining down on civilians = "perceived enemies"?

How many rockets would the USA tolerate? Russia, England, ANY country? Hint: Not 1,000s per year...

Israel builds a border fence to keep out terrorists = bad!
Egypt buids fence to keep Palistinians out = ignored
USA builds a border fence to keep out Mexicans = good! "

5Cats, I wasn`t saying Israel is the only bad guy... I said both Palestine and Israel were dangerous as each other for world stability.

The point about Israel using the UN.. wasn`t to say that it`s wrong to do that, it`s to point out the hypocrisy of them wanting other nations to have sanctions and to have to obey the UN international law... but consistently ignore it themselves in their operations and state sponsored assassinations.

As for your analogy of the fences... are either the egyptian or US fences in occupied land as designated by the UN?

@sr3nity

It seems you`re the one using that logic. In 1948 the UN declared that Israel. Which they immediately had to fight for not just from Palestine but everyone around them. Palestine failed and refuses to let it end.

@McGovern1981 Palestine has belonged to Palestinians for thousands of years, since the Roman Empire. Using your logic the land you are sitting on right now belongs to the natives, and therefore you should give it up to them immediately. Using your logic 90% of the world belongs to Britain.

I wouldn`t use our children as shields. Imagine that! I think you mean when the UN gave them their country back and all their neighbors tried to wipe them off the map failing terribly. Ya taking over....

Imagine if you could see the difference. One place has a small group of them not supported by many at all. The other has a large organized group backed by multiple nations. Not suprised your country has a strong history of not siding with Jewish people.

The only sad part of this video is that Israelis took over Palestine and expect Palestinians to just sit quietly in their homes and die. Imagine if China was occupying America, would Americans just sit in their homes quietly and wait to die?

Something is seriously wrong with this picture...

How about "gay rights"? You Liberals are big on those, eh?
Palistine: Gays are regularly jailed or killed.
Israel: One of the most "out" societies on Earth, for a long time now. (Jews are quite tolerant of gays, have been for 100s of years...)

Both indoctrinate each other to hate the other side from a very young age. And both like to intimidate the other. Though you can have sympathy for the Israeli`s who have long been threatened by the entire region. The rest of the Arab world only mentions palestine when they want to goad Israel. You have to ask why with all the money the Oil rich states and then Iran Iraq have why is Palestine still poor and suffering on their side. Arabs don`t care about Palestine past look how evil Israel is. Which leads to Sympathy for Palestinians, they didn`t commit the holocaust and want their own land, but they`re their own worst enemy and have blocked every chance for peace in the past. Security council should just Nuke the entire region and in 30 years divide up the spoils. Problem solved :D

Use your children as a shield and safe harbor Al-qaeda. Paints a clear picture for me now tell me why we hold Isreal back and this place isn`t a crater? Nothing but problems from them.

Ask a kid which parent is theirs. Calmly walk over to that parent and shoot them in the head. Tell all the others there that any futher harassment will be met with the same. End of problem.

It would shut them down and make them more likely to think about the soldiers as friends, rather than enemies. Their parents would be hard-pressed to get them to start up again." [/quote]
Oh sure. Good Idea!
Because with their parents standing there watching them they`ll take the bubble gum any time and just put up with the beating their parents will give them for not doing as they`re told.

If the parent`s use their own children as a shield, you cann`t blame the soldiers when children are hurt.

"Israel for instance campaigns for lots of UN sanctions against it`s perceived enemies... yet flouts international laws all the time itself when it suits.... and anyone that disagrees is depicted as an anti-Semite.

It`s certainly not about time we forgot about the atrocities committed against the jewish people in the last century... but it is certainly about time they stopped trading their persecution as an excuse to commit murders themselves now."

^This

It pisses me off every time I see or hear news about Israel committing some heinous act, because they know they have America backing them.

"Always side with Democracy, Science, and Progress. That`s Israel, not Palestine."

That`s a very limited view that restricts people to a choice of only two options.

There`s a third... oppose both regimes, because neither of them surviving in their current form is good for the world in general.

yeah... we used to get a lot of kids crowding us for sweets. We`d usually give them haribo. Some kids would throw bricks in our faces when we passed by.... we saved very hot cinnamon sweets for those kind of kids on our next time through their area.

While both sides have committed atrocities, something nearly all countries are guilty of, any normal person would side with Israel if they had to choose. Israel is the one democratic nation in the middle east, it is a nation where Arabs have more rights than in any other Middle Eastern country, and it is the only bastion of science and progress in the entire region. If the Arabs have their way, it will be another Syria.

Always side with Democracy, Science, and Progress. That`s Israel, not Palestine.

Blame the Jews? HA!
Who is the #1 employer of Palistinians? That`s right: Jews! NOT fellow Pali`s! Not Egyptians, Jordinians, Saudi`s... Jews!

A wise observation @sicker! Most excellent indeed! And soldiers throughout history have followed that advice!
BUT!
Palistinian children are trainedby their schools and their parents to NOT accept any such thing from the "dirty Jews".
It`s true: Schools AND Parents (and Imans of course). Look at the "kids shows" they watch!

@jtreb: STFU you anti-semite...

@inaria: No, that would be front-page news across the MSM for weeks if it happened.

Those soldiers did their duty, and it wasn`t easy!

And the Democrats...

Despite ALL the hard evidence, the uber-left in the USA continues to call for the "Second Holocaust" and supports the PLO without question...
Nice going Libtards!

Outstanding videos @kitteh9! Thanks!

Doing it wrong! People instinctively attack when threatened, but a child half your size is just annoying. They need to get a bunch of tall people to stand over them yelling. That will do it!
