It`s really more sad than anything. So what if she`s obese? She obviously has the spunk to mow her lawn and I think she deserves a kudos for that. More power to her. Less power to the jackass taking the photo and laughing at her condition rather than helping.

Maybe if she WALKED behind the mower she wouldn`t be obese. Just saying. Everytime I see a fat person on a scooter it reminds me of the future humans in WALL E.

Well see there? Only HOBYandy came close to getting it right.

To all the self-righteous, judgemental asses on here, that happens to not be a "scooter" but an extrodinarily expensive custom wheelchair. My mother had one from the same company (they all have the same bases) after her thighs and pelvis were crushed in a bad car accident. The only people that get those chairs are those that are 100% disabled and cannot physically walk.

You should be ashamed of yourselves for your assumptions.

DFWBrysco my mom and dad got a hoverround, which is what is pictured here, and both of them still can walk with a walker or cane. My uncle bought one off craigslist.

@dm2954 The ability to walk has no effect on being obese. Actually, the opposite is usually true, as paralysis leads to loss of muscle and a "wasting" appearence. Her appearence shows no signs of any handicap aside from obesity.
@DFWBrysco, anyone with the money can obtain any type of scooter or wheelchair, as there are no regulations on their sale. You can even find them on Craigslist and Ebay for cheap.
I stick by my prior statement, which is based on my experiences. To quote my 7 year old, "Daddy, how do the people that need scooters walk inside to get them? I think they are either lazy or cheating." (at the entrance to a Wal-Mart)
