2 issues the government will have to deal with:
1: Americans are generally well armed.
2: The oath keeper will not show up for work. The rest will die in the streets at the hands of those they intend to oppress.
Unlike the US where the military gets involved at the slighest hint of rebellion.
The military cannot be legally used against US citizens on US soil. The National Guard is state-run and is not a branch of the military. It is the modern "equivalent" to the militia.

You also lead the world in government video surveillance of the public. But why let facts disrupt your delusion it`s not like disarming civilians and leaving police armed is a police state... Oh no that`s pretty much the definition! Don`t take advice on how to run a country from people who still support a monarcy!!

@mcgovern The US is more of a police state than the UK will ever be. In the UK, if riots happen, the police stay well away until it does down a little. The military wont even get involved unless its for a very valid reason. Unlike the US where the military gets involved at the slighest hint of rebellion.

irony perhaps mcgovern, but irony doesnt mean he/she is wrong.
wouldnt you rather point out that he/she would be wrong?

It is a shame, really, that in all fairness, that cant be done.. once yes, now? no.

How much longer until the world supposedly ends again? 72 days?

On a more serious note, I would say things will come to an ugly head soon, but then again, hasn`t every generation before us said the same?

The Spanish can kiss my shiny metal ass. I know how much you get there for sitting on your ass all day. I know how long holidays they have. From the perspective of a poor eastern-europe country they look like spoiled children.

Who watched this and is seriously still against "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."?

What makes anyone think these people were innocent? Did they ask for it? What were they doing (or not doing) to get such a response?"

Indoctrinated much?

One question, why wouldn`t everyone who was going there bring a knife? If nine thousand people have knives the police lose the battle, plain and simple.

^^^ What he said. It astounds me that anyone in America can imagine themselves to not already be living in a Police State when the evidence is right there in front of them: your police and military are petty thugs, your prisons are full of largely-innocent people, and your political alternatives represent no real choice at all.

But then, Soviet citizens believed themselves to be living in a Workers` Paradise under Stalin, so there`s no accounting for the stupidity and capacity for self-delusion of people in groups.

I think not far down the road something terrible will blow, Most countries in the world are suffering the same to some degree or other
and with the middle east going pear shaped again,
a world war may be in the offing

tedgp - The problems the West faces can`t simply be voted out, unfortunately.

And McGovern actually brings up a good point. This sort of situation is actually the purpose of the 2nd amendment. You don`t really see rioting and looting in the US the same you do in Europe because the people shoot back. The Korean store owners in the LA riots come to mind. Americans would easily start shooting back before they were under an authoritarian regime.

Dont worry guys, the UK went through all this in the 70`s and 80`s. We ended up giving the government no choice but to leave office.

@kitteh9lives that comment is highly exaggerated. I have a few friends who live in spain and they are having no issues with food/water etc. The people that are having issues are the people who choose to live in the cities where everything is convienient. Now the country cant afford to continue that convienience, people play hell.

Go to the countryside or away from the cities, and its pretty much life as normal apart from a few bill price hikes.

Written in the Youtube uploader`s comment section:
Spain`s riot police are now running throughout the streets beating everyone in sight, men and woman, young and old.

When the people demand democracy from an oligarchy that rules their subjects trough the strong-arm of a totalitarian police state the streets fill with the madness and mayhem seen in this video.

Since September 25th the masses of Spain, no longer being able to feed themselves or their families, have risen up against the oligarchy to protest further budget cuts and massive tax increases, a situation so dire it threatens their very survival.

While the masses suffer these unspeakable atrocities the poor are being robbed yet again to bail out the rich.

The overlords have no sympathy for the less fortunate and instead of forcing the bankers to take losses on their investments the ruling class remains disconnected from the reality of millions.

The unrest spans across Europe where several nations being forced to pinch out the masses by globalist regulatory bodies claiming nations need to get their fiscal house in order

But as we have seen in every previous past crash situations such as these are used as nothing more than excuse to help the rich reduce their own tax burden and the operating costs of the corporations they run.

Yet this time around the downward spiral only continues to self-perpetuate and deepen as the funds collected with each passing austerity cut are spent funding yet another banker bailout.

These bailouts act as nothing more than useless band-aids on hemorrhaging gashes of a collapsing economic system that has been struck with a self-inflicted mortal wounds delivered by a trifecta of rapacious greed, rampant fraud and unbearable corruption.

Instead of blaming the trillions wasted on implementing an Orwellian control totalitarian police state complete with kidnapping, tortures, assassinations and the mass murder of millions in illegal overseas wars the scapegoat will become the American middle class when they are already suffering through one of the worst economic crisises in the history of this nation.

While politicians seem to be so utterly incompetent they can accomplish nothing besides lining their own pockets with money but they certainly are world-renowned experts at kicking the can down road.

Come this January America`s Fiscal cliff will be staring them in the face and they just may find when they try kicking the can this time it just won`t move.

If that happens then America will face its first of several rounds of across the board austerity cuts and feel for the first time pain of the agonizingly painful austerity bite that has been repeatedly bitten the people of Europe over the last several years.

With many Americans already so-inclined to take their grievances out into the streets we will certainly do so in solidarity with our brothers and sisters overseas.

As we have seen with the Occupy movement even nonviolent mass protests have been met with the authoritarian fist of the Oligarchy`s army of mercenaries so we can be rest assured when those numbers swell into the millions, as they have in Spain and several other European nations, the reaction of the police state will be proportionately unruly.

Brace yourself America as our streets may soon resemble those in Spain where a rampantly brutal and out control police is acting swiftly to crush any popular resistance to the bloodsucking reign of the autocratic global cabal.
