Wow what a serious d-bag.... Every time I see one of those things, I can`t help but wonder what it would look like if my 9000 pound truck t-boned it... Hm..

Kegomatix, if you`re not a freelance lumberjack or heavy equipment mover, you`re most likely a douchebag. If you are one of these, you`re probably still a douchebag.

    @Tiedyed

I have several vehicles, since when did owning a truck mean you`re a d-bag? Must have missed that one. You`re probably one of those idiots that cry fowl on owning a truck (for whatever reason) then as soon as you need something hauled, you`re trying to find a friend who owns one. So how about you go f*ck yourself?

Also, I notice my first post might be easily misconstrued. "Wow what a serious d-bag" was aimed at whoever vandalized the car.

Oh and intrigid, refer to my previous post.

cry fowl on owning a truck

owning a truck is okay, owning an F250/350, especially if its lifted, serves little purpose for majority of said truck owners.

I`d wager that this has less to do with the car than the driver.

Pro Tip* WD-40 will take that right off without hurting the car paint.

the trouble with the smart is for such a tiny car it gets terrible mpg, you need the avago,c1,107 or the VW up in the states tiny but proper cars with excellent mileage

Darkmagic, it is an F250 lol... It isn`t lifted but it is 4x4. Also it has the 7.3 turbo diesel, so it really isn`t all that bad on fuel. Yesterday I moved an entire living room set for a friend of mine in one trip, a couple weeks ago I was helping another friend move and in one load we fit a refrigerator, two couches, a dining room table, a living room table and two end tables all with the tailgate up. Love an 8 foot bed.

    Aww poor smart. :(
I`ve been driving company smart cars for years. They`ve sort of grown on me, I just know them so well. Terrible driver`s car, but absolutely amazing city car for darting in and out of traffic. The thing fits anywhere. I always tell people, as a driving enthusiast I think they`re terrible. But as an automotive enthusiast, I think they`re fantastic! I had a chance to drive a 2013 model last week that had power steering. Mind blown!

"Smart" car driver will not feel so smart after being run over by Kegomatix F250.

Isn`t that what marketing is all about - "how do we get idiots to buy this car? Oh, I know, lets name it a `smart` car!" Marketing win!

I`ve been rolling around town in a manual toyota yaris. It`s probably a good bit bigger than this but I can still get in and out of any space and I get 40 mpg so I love my little go-buggy.

"Every time I see one of those things, I can`t help but wonder what it would look like if my 9000 pound truck t-boned it"

I don`t know much about the mechanics of vehicle collisions, but with the great variety of technologies, materials and designs around today, I doubt the equation is as simple as "the biggest vehicle wins".

And it really is dangerous overconfidence to assume that it is.

"I don`t know much about the mechanics of vehicle collisions..."

Or the laws of physics it would seem. ;-/ inertia = mass * velocity no matter what high-tech materials are being used, no?

Yep... I would think that no matter what the vehicle is equipped with, 9000 lbs smashing into a car that can`t weigh more than 1500 lbs at oh say, 45 mph, would really hurt.
