Link: McDonalds You`re Part Of The Obesity Problem - Yeah, it`s a choice to eat McDonald`s food, but they don`t have to encourage it with cutsey Facebook posts.

The individual alone is responsible for their obesity problem.

"...but they don`t have to encourage it..."

Is McDonald`s holding people at gunpoint and force-feeding them?

If not, they are not a part of the problem. They are a symptom.

Don`t be a slave to the mainstream media message. McDonald`s is not killing you. Everyone remembers "Super Size Me", the documentary where the director ate at McD`s 30 straight days and wound up gaining alot of weight and getting sick. The MSM couldn`t get enough of it. They jammed it down our throats for months. Do you remember the documentary made shortly thereafter where the director ate at McD`s for 30 days straight and LOST weight and lowered his cholesterol? Of course you don`t. It was completely ignored by the MSM because it didn`t fit their message.

Eating too much bad food for too long will kill you. It makes no difference where you get it.

Right, because it`s just plain WRONG for a business to try to sell more of its products.

Fancy, you really are a socialist dickwad.

@Jury1of1 Last time I checked, advertising`s intended purpose was to encourage people to buy a product. Sooooo, wtf are you talking about?

Because if everyone had the same taste, there would be exactly one type restaraunt called `Food`, exactly one soda called `Soda`, and exactly one make, model and color car.

Imagine, a world with absolutely no choices. (madest`s wet dream)

    smaus:
McDonalds fries are made of russet Burbank potatoes, so if they`re "such crap" I take it to mean you consider all potatoes to be crap. They are deep fried in vegetable oil, and that adds calories, but this knee-jerk labeling of all fast foods as valueless, artificial junk is just brainless iconoclasm for its own sake.

You basically have three options when eating out:

    Good.
    Fast.
    Cheap.

    You can choose any two.

Actually, when McDonald,s opened their first restaurant in Paris, a bunch of hoity-toity food critics reviewed their menu. They panned it all except for the French fries, which they agreed were quite good.

MacDonald french fries sucks a lot, is like to eat pieces of sponge.

This are real french fries done with real potato, sunflower oil and salt, if you want some black pepper or rosemary. No need anything more.

Never considered that with auto repair, but you`re correct.

I usually try and do all my repairs myself. Occasionally have parts let over..but they can`t be that important.
