Link: Dead Deer Found Inside Restaurant Kitchen - Yep, just as it looks. It didn`t just die in there--it was there for prep. Time to guess what genre of restaurant it is.

What`s the problem with having a deer? People eat deer, restaurants make food from animals.

Not only do people eat venison, it is something of a luxury.

Dragging its twitching carcass through the crowded restaurant probably wasn`t the smartest thing to do.

An-egg, it depends on if they`re advertising it as deer meat or not. If I`m ordering beef or chicken I expect beef or chicken not deer. Also, they didn`t exactly transport it in a sanitary way.

    Seems to have been roadkill.

I`m fond of venison but I expect it to be properly butchered, not just have lumps hacked of in a kitchen.

I don`t see why they would try to pass venison off as anything else (certainly not chicken!) and animals naturally come into contact with all manner of things, this is usually remidied by washing, peeling and cooking them.

Cool, fresh food. Those people over reacted - especially the one with -ahem- horizontal issues.

Do they not know where the meat comes from? The deer had a nicer life than your pork lady.

At first I thought they`d shot the deer, but they found it on the roadside!

I really like deer meat it`s good, but roadkill is dangerous to eat.

Venison is great for anything from chili to jerky. Roadkill is a different story, you can get really sick and possibly die, that`s why you field dress (gut) them as soon soon as you can. It allows the meat to get cool faster and stop the growth of bacteria that can contaminate the meat.
