btw, I am pretty damn sure that Obama will come out swinging in the next round and romney will go from fiesty to upset...

Anyone else notice that the "unbiased" MSNBC has been putting the phrase "LEAN FORWARD" (as in Obama`s campain slogan FORWARD) on the crawler and other ad lines? At least Fox make an attempt to have some different points of view from their guests.

Jamie - I`m glad to see you`re back with us. Last time I saw you, you rant out of here because of all the "conservative" bias here. LOL. And Fact Checkers prove everyone wrong. It kind of depends on what facts you`re checking and how you check them. Any study can prove anything, much like you can manipulate statistics and polling data to say whatever you want.

Craig, this is true. Hannity is the main republican stronghold show on that channel. But O`Reilly, for instance, pretty much always purposely outnumbers himself with liberals.

And then we have Shepard "This is America we don`t fracking torture" Smith, the guy who also said Republicans would be on the wrong side of history in the gay debate.

And then Juan Williams and Geraldo Rivera are very moderate. But most liberals would just think they`re uncle toms.

The point is - at the very least - Fox is at least as biased as the other networks. However, MSNBC definitely has less viewpoints.

"The point is - at the very least - Fox is at least as biased as the other networks. However, MSNBC definitely has less viewpoints."

Your whole rant hurt my brain. Fox News and MSNBC are both riding the biased train. They both in no way resemble news. To compare either of these sensational organizations to other networks is just ridiculous and laughable. Fox News has started this new thing on their web site this past week where they have "Bias Alert" in bright red letters next to an article. They should have that next to almost every article they post. Seriously Fox News should rename itself to Republican News. And MSNBC should rename itself to Democratic News.

Markust - your definition of rant is very weird. If my post was a rant, then you have expanded the definition too far and anything could be a rant. Hell, you were just ranting.

Here is a quote from my `rant` "Fox is at least as biased as the other networks.". --- OUTRAGEOUS STATEMENT!

But if you compare it to MSNBC, it IS different. A liberal will see their point of view on Fox News more often than a conservative on MSNBC. It follows, then, that MSNBC has less diversity of opinion than Fox. However, CNN is about the same, if not better, than Fox.

I`m not even sure the point you`re making, though. We`re basically making the same point and agree, I just think there are different levels of bias and MSNBC would be better labeled even below Fox. It`s not a ridiculous statement that should make anyone`s brain hurt. It doesn`t take that much effort to process that idea, and if it does, there is something wrong.

You are clearly delusional. Fox News is a sensational news network. It is the same if not worse than MSNBC. Neither station comes close to CNN. They are a world wide network that still tries to practice the standards of journalism. Even so I wouldn`t waste my time on CNN either. Cable News has too much time to fill. It is a bad format and a bad concept.

Honey Boo Boo is getting top ratings also. Doesn`t mean it is quality television. Fox News gets more ratings probably because liberals don`t need to be told what to think. See I can spin things around too. Doesn`t mean I am making any sense.

There is no truthfulness, accuracy, objectivity, impartiality, fairness or public accountability in the garbage you watch. People that watch sensational news are like the human centipede - sh*t comes in and sh*t comes out.

Au contraire. Fox is at least as fair as CNN, if not more so between 9am-5pm. Their opinion shows may not be seen as `fair`, but that`s the liberal viewpoint of them. MSNBC is NEVER `fair` at anytime of the day, that`s why their ratings are circling the drain.

Wait a minute, you talk about their highest ratings and then you follow up with the time frame with their lowest ratings? People don`t come to Fox to get news. They come to Fox to hear exactly what they want to hear and they do that in the morning and in the evening. A real news organization informs their viewers. Fox News tells their followers what they are supposed to believe. You defending such a dishonest format as Fox News is as bad as someone defending the dishonest format of MSNBC. You are no different. And CNN is miles above the two organizations but your head is so far up Fox News` ass you can`t see things clearly.

"Liberal media" is a bullpoo line in today`s world of millions of news sources. Facts are facts. Some talking head expanding on facts doesn`t change the facts. Ever since there`s been journalism, there have been cries of bias, The only bias as far as I can discern is that on right. Example: The voter fraud going on right now, perpetrated by the republican party itself and remember the hemorrhage Fox had over ACORN.
Conservatives have a problem. Their former leader was a failure, his replacement is Mitt Romney. To earn that mantle he needed to battle religious zealots, disgraced politicians and a horny Pizza delivery guy. He`s been on every side of every issue and conservatives now defend a "flip-flopper". He hid money from Uncle Sam and forced the birthers to defend keeping his taxes secret.
He`s exposing his remaining supporters as traitors who put party over country. I`m quite certain Barack will win. Traitors.

As funny as they get, sex scandals really don`t affect my vote one way or the other. In hindsight, if McCain wasn`t such a damned hawk, I would`ve voted for him. I also would`ve been okay with voting for Herman Cain. Course even he could`ve flip-flopped like Romney did over the course of the campaign.

Obama`s not a tax cheat. I mean you`re deluding yourself. I`m not saying a vote for Obama is patriotic I`m saying a vote for Romney is traitorous. You can`t defend him. Bain Capitol is a shady enterprise that picks the carcasses of companies, destroys livelihoods and towns and the unemployed and blighted neighborhoods become the taxpayers responsibility. Meanwhile, Mittens and Bain are socking their money away in the Caymans and Switzerland and out of our never ending kindness to rich douchebags like him we send him a yearly $77,000.00 check for his horse ballet hobby. You`re not hearing any of that on Fox but it`s all fact.
Obama`s and Romney aren`t the only two options. Willfully giving your vote to someone you know is that shady is insane and sends the message to the republican party that they can nominate a turd and you`ll fall in line lock step behind it.

That`s mostly false, in fact most of the time it does better job bailing out companies than govt does. They actually have a strong incentive to attach serious strings to the money they hand out, which includes removing some management positions. Ther are, unfortunately, some companies so broken they can`t be saved.

"If there’s something that seems shut down in our once ebulliently optimistic president, it most likely has to do with the wars... Some observers have speculated that Obama needs a crowd, energy he can draw from... A person of his temperament cannot maintain the same open demeanor when he’s dealing with war and death all the time. As, we must recall, Obama has been for years now. If Obama seems shut down, perhaps it is because he has to be to be who he is and do the job he needs to do day in and day out. If his heart didn’t seem in it last night, I wonder if it’s not in part because the last thing he needs to consider in his work on a day-to-day basis is his heart. It’s a long way from being a community organizer, civil-rights lawyer and anti-war state senator to running a drone war that kills innocent civilians, ordering the death of militants, overseeing a policy thatâ€͐

CJ, You`re another guy that would vote for anybody the republican party propped up in front of you. If they propped up Fred Willard and told you he was their nominee, you`d vote for him. If Fred`s master plan was to kill all the handicapped Americans you`d vote for him. So what you think of me is inconsequential. You`re a party patsy, incapable of properly judging a candidate on your own. The republican party will continue to use the weak until there`s not enough weak minds around to keep a viable party. The only way the republican party will get out of this downward spiral is a smack down from their base. They won`t get that from the likes of you.

Look who`s talking? I always vote for the man. I voted for Reagan, Perot and Clinton and have sided with the democrats since. I changed registration in 2004 to support Ron Paul in the primaries and would have voted for him in the main election if he had made it that far. I`m not party loyal, there`s lots of things about Obama that I`m not fond of but of our options he is the only worthy candidate to me.
You voted for a guy that lied about the reasons for war. I mean I thought it mad that you voted for a guy who couldn`t pronounce the word "nuclear" but you upped the ante and voted for a guy who lied about war. To me that`s insanity.
You lost all political credibility with that one vote and haven`t recovered since. Mitt Romney is crooked. You and your party knows it, but you call me crazy.

there`s lots of things about Obama that I`m not fond

    Let`s see:
-He hasn`t closed down Guantanamo and, like Bush, continues to use extraordinary rendition and detainment without habeaus corpus.
-He renegged on his promise for an open debate on his healthcare "reform".
-He has expanded the use of predator drone strikes, and engaged in a totally illegal war in Libya. Never mind he opposed the gloriously unjustified campaigns in Iraq and Afghanistan as Senator.
-He, like Bush, illegally diverted TARP funds to bailout the bad actors in the auto industry.
-He, like Bush, continues to add to the debt yet at a much faster rate.
-He, like Bush, has expanded regulations driving many businesses (big and small alike) away from our country.

    cont...
-Obama, like Bush, has demonstrated limited restraint on executive power. The latest episode comes with the IRS illegally imposing taxes to setup federally backed exchanges to address a legislative hiccup when Obamacare was being drafted.
-Obama, like Bush, continues to raid medical marijuana dispensaries, deport illegal immigrants (even those who work hard).

I don`t see a lot of potential for Romney to be any different. But please tell me what exactly is it about Obama are you even fond of?

I wasn`t the biggest Bush fan but come on! The libs put up All Gore and John Kerry! A mental midget and an uber rich dude with a sugar mama.

Then you put up a community organizer with a law degree and paired him with a career DC insider.

    Talk about weak sauce!

Instead of criticizing me for my voting history perhaps you should be writing sympathy cards to the families of every soldier who died in Iraq after November 7th 2004. You`re partly responsible and you should be ashamed but shame doesn`t seem to be a virtue of the republican party either.

@madest: Really? Is it possible that you are honestly this dense?

Cajun has already said that he did not vote for Bush (since he was too young). The ONLY President he has voted for has been Obama (first term). In addition, he is voting for Gary Johnson - NOT Romney.

Also, how the hell do you consider that he is attacking your voting history? HE ALSO VOTED FOR OBAMA IN 2008! He is not attacking your history you fool; he is attacking your future votes.

Do you even read before you reply?

So let me get this straight... You and Cajun go back and forth three FULL times without anyone else chiming in, and all of a sudden you are talking to someone else without addressing them directly?

I think everyones right - you are losing it.

Cajun informed me the other day that he was too young to vote for Bush. Chastised me in fact for not looking at his profile. I don`t need to defend my words nor do I need to apologize to Cajun. If he`s not republican he`s smart enough to be one.
