No chain and a unique "swing & lock" rear wheel. Will hipsters line up around the block to buy this one?

It would be a lot easier to get what that thing was all about if they paid a trained film editor to produce the final product. All I see is a sequence of disconnected shots of some sort of epileptic contraption being ridden round a car-park

"Bicycle dressage?"

HAHAHAHA! I can`t get this out of my head now. A bunch of hipsters in the crowd, watching Bicycle Dressage.

Thanks!

It`s stupid, dangerous and unpractical. Sounds like hipster stuff to me.

What advantages does this have over a normal bicycle?

I`m all for innovation and it`s particularly interesting with established things, but it needs to be better than the existing version. The only advantage I can see with this is increased manouverability at low speed, but what`s that good for? Bicycle dressage? In exchange, you lose gearing and stability. I think the disadvantages far outweigh the advantages.

Looks like a modern day version of the penny farthing rear wheel drive version with the wheels equalized out and a couple o mods
fail. losing the chains is dumb, you can never pedal to get any real speed on this thing. you would wear your ass out trying to pedal that fast
And if that`s not bad enough, think about going up a steep hill.

the only thing I see wrong with this is the twin swivel design. It would make riding a bike like a unicycle. To much though involved to be simple. The gearing could be incorporated in the rear wheel easily and the design has its advantages. Namely the lack of a chain, I see this as a solid frame coming very soon.

yeahno, apart from the lack of gearing, the positioning would make for an exceptionally uncomfortable ride. Try cycling while seated and because your legs are further back relative to your body, your weight will be towards the front of your...er...gusset...ie, the balls.
I, unlike this guy don`t enjoy sitting on my balls.

@ ScottSerious - Exactly what I was going to say. I`d like to see him peddle that thing up a decent hill - and what happens when you hit a good bump?
And were all the artsy shots of the parking ramp really necessary?
