sometimes it`s almost hard to believe that kip/buffy wilson and forest gump are the same person. he`s really played a wide variety of roles.

though i will always love bosom buddies. (though i really thought peter scolari was the star)

They also left out Saving Private Ryan, Volunteers, The Money Pit, Joe vs the Volcano, A League of Their Own, The Ladykillers and Toy Story...
Perhaps if they had shown just one picture from each role instead of 2 or 3 they might have had more `time`.

Several years ago, A&E produced a segment of "Biography" (god, remember when A&E stood for "Arts & Entertainment" Channel and not reality crap central?) on Tom Hanks.

One of the interesting things I found that they brought out, was that he kind of sluffed off and through action and attitude, denied his original start as a comedian and rising popularity through the purely comedic roles he did (just about everything before Bonfire of the Vanities).

While he still injects light comedy here and there into his current/later roles, none of them are comedic at the source - he doesn`t even like to talk about them, and makes sure any interview doesn`t cover that material. It`s almost like he is ashamed of his humble beginnings.
