The `di` isn`t necessary as if there was just one, it`s known as hydrogen peroxide. Stupid meme is old and stupid.

Years ago in my country bunch of journalists went to the parliament for an April`s fool prank. They asked politicians whether they know that the environment was so bad, hydrogen in water has reached twice the amount of oxygen. Nearly all of them felled for it. It was hilarious.

Also, it`s instantly fatal if inhaled, and it`s known to be an incubation medium for deadly diseases.

I would allow it to purge the slightly yellow, and once it resumes normal operation get myself a goddaumn glass of water.

First world problems.

@NNoamfer: What if my tapped water is nowhere near being trustworthy?

What if it, sometimes, coughs slightly yellowish before resuming normal operation? Would YOU drink it?

Outrageous! Who in their right mind would pay $III.XXVII for a case of Hydric Acid? Sheesh! It`s not worth a denarius over $II.XCV!

Remember the kid who polled his classmates about the dangers of dihydrogen monoxide. One wasn`t fooled, 43 wanted to ban the substance and 6 were undecided.

Can`t decide whether I want to slap the guy in the back of the head or shake his hand. Maybe one then the other.

The fate of many a college grad, yes. However, with the sciences undergrads should try their hardest to work in one of their university`s labs and make connections with the professor supervising that lab. Often they know people in industry that can help with gainful employment, and with a good reference it`s much easier to get in.

Di = 2 Mon = 1

Di-hydrogen Monoxide = h2O1 = H2O

The whole dihydrogen monoxide joke is pretty old, but at least he/she spiced it up with "hydric acid."
