The ironic part about this is that their probably aren`t many people, from Michigan, with license plate`s that are a jumble of B`s and 8`s. And it`s easier for any pedestrian to read/memorize that a car`s license plate was just that.

    Nice try.

How hard would it be for the cops to find that vehicle if someone reported them for speeding or something like that.

"It was a dark mercury sedan with what appeared to be all B`s or 8`s on the plate officer."

Give the cops a few days and I bet they find that car around town no problem. If he had a regular plate you prob wouldnt get any of what is on it, this plate just sticks out too much.

@ajd121 Their are only 128 combinations for a 7 character, bi-character license plate. I doubt all 128 are in use.

I think the cops can run searches for partial license plates, then cross reference that with the make and model of car.

I always thought a great plate would be NUMBER.

That said, I wouldn`t spend the extra money to have it.

@ajd121, when you get a ticket, its written to the owner of the car (if its a mailed ticket) or put in the record under you license number (not license plate number)

I once read about someone who did something similar: ordered a vanity license plate consisting of ohs and zeroes, something like 0O0O0O0. Surprisingly enough, the DMV issued it (there was a picture of the plate with the story). But the guy soon regretted getting it because he was being pulled over about once a month by police officers who saw it and didn`t believe it was a legitimate license plate.

Cops are human trash. All of them. The type of people who will unload 30+ rounds on someone executing them for just walking away from them. You don`t shoot someone in the back. Never. Or the groin like Butters. Cops are those nerd jocks in school who were too awkward to get laid, so they become cops to get revenge.

I think this would fool light cameras and toll road cameras. That being said it might be worth it if you could take the toll road to work every day, like me. I WANT!

Theoretically: People can`t read that license plate and he get`s away with committing crimes as plannned

Actuality: Ends up getting harassed by the police even more frequently as Squirlz wrote and unmercy illustrated

@darkmagic14n: Moving violations are written to the owner. Non moving aren`t. For example, handicapped parking, expired meter, etc.

That`s near me (and it`s old.)
Matwix, someone else here does have that one.
There`s another guy near that has "II1I1II" with the horizontal lines partially whited-out.

I didn`t want to put up with the harassment.

"@darkmagic14n: Moving violations are written to the owner. Non moving aren`t. For example, handicapped parking, expired meter, etc."

You got it backwards. Moving violations are written to the person operating the vehicle. Parking violations are written to who the car is registered to.

And to expand on what I just wrote, it`s only moving violations where you get pulled over and identified. Traffic cameras, toll cameras, etc, will result in a ticket to the person the vehicle is registered to.
