Japanese Company Designs The Human Furry Tail

Submitted by: fancylad 4 years ago in Science

It"s a furry cat-like tail that wags when you"re happy and droops when you"re sad. It"s controlled by your brain.

Neuro tagging seems quite legit, if you`re into that sort of stuff, but the tail is just plain useless.

If I give her good scare, does it tuck between her legs as she runs away?

Hippopotamuses do the same thing with their tail when they`re underwater. It automatically cleans their butt hole when they`re crapping.
When cats are happy, their tails go up with a curl like a question mark.
@Squrrlz: Kinda, yes mostly. It varies from cat to cat. Usually "tail up" = happy.
They call it a "human tail" though, to avoid that confusion I guess. And fewer people want to wear "dog tails" lolz!
I expected it to get puffy when she was scared! lolz! Or at least stand straight out or something.
The only thing they showed it doing was wagging. Does it go faster & slower? Does just the end wiggle too?

@ZB: Awesome. You did a good deed there, which will be repaid in some special way, I`m sure. In other news: I`ve taken to feeding crows at work during my lunch hour. Squirrels rule, but crows are pretty cool, too. Smart little buggers.

Aaah yes I`ve seen those! Adorbs. By the way I forgot to tell you that we found a rescue center for the squirrels. They`re doing well.

Why are Japanese people so weird? That`s not how a normal person reacts to getting scared by a dog!

And by that last bit where they show the dude`s tail, I just face palmed.

Clue phone: Some animals like to imitate hoomans and some hoomans like to imitate animals.

Where the f*ck is the need? Animals are animals, they need not have humans imitate them like freaks.

If it didn`t share my location, then I wouldn`t mind getting it.

Am I the only one who thinks they got this wrong? When cats are happy, their tails go up with a curl like a question mark. When cats wag their tails, it generally means they`re annoyed or agitated by something (as opposed to dogs).
