I don`t think "ALL" people are born bi-sexual. I could never even imagine myself making out with a guy. I have no problem if others do it. Doesn`t bother me in the least. I just couldn`t do it. I think some folks are born gay, some folks are born straight and some folks are born bi-sexual. That`s just the way it is.

true bi sexuality is really rare in all actuality. sexuality is more of a spectrum, with most people on the ends. this is another great reason why greenday sucks so bad.

`It seems like that to me, therefore this must be what happens to everybody else. Everybody else is just in denial.`
    I hate this attitude.

Aah, Greenday, sounds vaguely familiar. Never liked the music much apart from one or two songs. It`s good for him that he can come out with this, definitely not easy for a lot of people. Different is not always accepted.

Yeah. Also, some people are born gold medalists, bank presidents, and serial killers. No person`s destiny is ever a decision and no one should be held accountable for their actions. Blah blah blah.

bisexuality seems like a smart idea, perhaps we can then finally overcome the bickering about what sex our partner(s) should have (answer: doesn`t matter!)

I think the gay rights movement loses credibility when they start saying that everybody is actually gay, but your parents just weren`t open-minded enough to let you be aware of your gayness.

Pretty sure I wasn`t born bi-sexual. The first time I saw my penis, I didn`t think I wanted to see or have more, I wanted to know how I could get rid of the one I have.

Someone who is bisexual thinks that everyone is bisexual. Sounds just like straight people who think everyone is straight. How come gay people understand the spectrum of sexuality so much more?

Wow, this surprises anyone? They have a song they play at every single concert that recounts Billie Joe getting into his mom`s clothes as a kid and dressing up like a drag queen.

"Pretty sure I wasn`t born bi-sexual. The first time I saw my penis, I didn`t think I wanted to see or have more, I wanted to know how I could get rid of the one I have."

That is the oddest comment I have heard on IAB.

I`m not sure that he meant all people are born bisexual. There`s a degree of ambiguity in his words and it would probably be a good idea to find out what he meant before criticising him for one interpretation of it.

My POV is that everyone is born asexual. Babies don`t have a sex drive in any direction.

While a split into 2 and a bit discrete groups is a bit better than a split into 2 discrete groups, it`s still obviously wrong and tends to promote irrational prejudice. Sexual orientation is a spectrum with clusters near each end, not discrete groups. The discrete groups almost always taken for granted don`t really exist.

    @faaaq

Let`s try this. "I believe people are born brown-haired." You wouldn`t assume that this means everyone is born a brunette. It makes more sense to read it "I believe that people with brown hair are born that way."

In other words, you can also read Billy Joe`s comments as meaning "I believe that bisexual people are born that way."

He`s a pop-punk star, not a lawyer. He`s probably not the most concerned with ambiguity in language.

um...Angilion his EXACT words were "i think people are born bisexual." not really any way but one to interpret that...

There are at least two, especially given that the context is a specific individual (himself):

    1) All people are born bisexual.

    2) People who are bisexual are born bisexual.

Either interpretation would fit the words and the context.

My parents never told me that being bi or gay was wrong, and where I grew up, that sort of thing was openly accepted as being okay, and I`m not even 1% bi or gay. You`re either born that way, or not.

Im all for supporting the LGBT community, but I still think your sexuality can come from a mix of genetics and environment.
For example, I went to a WNBA game recently and there is no way that nature created so many angry lesbians. They were obviously influenced by the douchy men in the world.

The gay/lesbian community isn`t always that good at accepting either (probably should say some individuals in it). Openly proclaiming yourself to be bisexual can be a red flag to some who take it to mean that you`re a coward who won`t admit to being homosexual.
