Because they never include enough power in the original packet. $3.22 seems a bit expensive though.

@Lostinkorea....it seems that a lot of people are going towards the more processed foods because they are easier. I am not gonna lie I eat a lot of processed food, however I go to school full time, work full time and have a part time job so it is rare that I have any time to cook.....But when I do, I COOK. Fresh everything, and I spend a lot of time doing it.

@ CrackerJacks: please tell me you`re kidding! Velveeta and tastes better in the same sentence. I had it once and it tasted like poo too! Does anyone on this site actually cook? With real food?

@HalfPintRoo - You`re right, I can sort of make out the words "Wheat Flour" but I found this on their website.

It`s too small for me to read, but is the first ingredient "Wheat Flour" or is my mind making it be that. I would love to find some powder cheese I can eat! I haven`t had kraft in YEARS

Whoa, fat Americans fight back. yes I know the store is Canadian (although the product is still American) and my statement was referring to the IAB category "America this is why you`re fat" which it its self includes tons of products that are not American or event in the us. try again guys :)

Just buy some Creamette macaroni and a box of Velveeta and make it without the powder. Saves money and tastes better.

@loleh, I hope you`re trolling (trying to at least) because I don`t think it`s in the US. In fact, a quick Google search will show that Bulk Barn is a Canadian store. So...Canada, this is why you`re fat.

Standard mac & cheese boxes have about an ounce of cheese powder (according to the internet) so for $3.22 you get 16 boxes which is maybe 32 servings, so a dime per serving. That sounds reasonable to me.
