Owning a slow loris is either dangerous or cruel or both. They are poisonous so you either have to surgically remove their glands or take the risk.

I`m sure nobody here would consider buying one as a pet because it is cute. That would take stupidity well past the point of moral culpability.

Why are we all condemning her? Just looking at the background I would guess she`s in the same neighborhood of it`s habitat. Maybe she is working in a facility that helps injured animals or something.

What makes it especially interesting is the Loris is the only poisonous mammal on Earth. So having it clinging to the back of your head isn`t very smart.

@jhylla right you are slow loris is a rare mammal that has a `toxic` bite. The pet traders remove their teeth for that reason. This little baby is harmless though.
@ zuriel right you are about the homework, you should do yours.
Platypus males have `venomous` back spurs. Their bite is fine though.

never heard of a loris before. just did my research and i am once again appalled at the pet trade. i love pets, but most animals should not be pets and even for the ones that are well domesticated most people are not capable of properly taking care of them.

    honkeylips

Nobody has conemned her specifically, just the practice of keeping these animals as pets.
