We all have a much enriched life because of Wikileaks. Wonderful organization! Not self serving, but selfless. Looking out for all of us over their own self-serving interests. True humanitarians. Wonderful.

Why wikileaks needs to exist is so that the government doesn`t think it can get away with things. Now i do believe there are some things that should stay hidden. But when the government drats up it is not ok just to stamp it classified and bury it away or destroy any record of the drat up.

Oh yes let`s not bother with weeding out govt deception and disinformation. Let the govt make us dependant on them. Right

A quick browse tells me the Anglo-Swedish war 1810-1812, but that`s probably beside the point

@AGit

Oh no I don`t but that`s reference in said subject. Now please tell me a war where civilians have not died?

It seems to me that if you believe that all casualties are in "Al Qaeda camps" perhaps you should worry about brainwashing slightly closer to home. You rejoice in the death of thousands, you`re a poor excuse of a human being and I`m sadly glad that I don`t know you personally

@AGit

Ya that`s a good equation cause in Al Qaeda camps they don`t brainwash their families too. Hey you should go on humanitarian mission to them and see how much love they show you! Congratulations on helping others confirm the whiny Eurotrash with their head in the sand image next time you have thought let it go!

Wow. Every place populated by copious amounts of human beings sucks. Nationalism sucks. If people would learn that their governments do not have their best interests in mind then things just might change. We`re all in the same boat. We`re all human beings, we`re not immortal. There is too little time for petty feelings toward people who we`ve never met. All because we`re told that the others are bad. There is absolutely no reason to hate any person that you don`t know about personally. To do so is a childish thing to do.

I`m assuming that if somebody stated that the 9/11 victims should have worn parachutes, you would find that of extremely poor taste. And probably quite rightfully, too.
Congratulations on helping others confirm their poor image of Americans. Either you are a complete moron or an extremely succesful troll

What`s your point you`re stupid Euro trash that probably comes from a country that participated in the same wars? If these "civilians" weren`t in an Al Qaeda compounds they`d be alive but they choose to be there and follow them. WEAR A HELMET!!
Funny how they conveniently forgot to include the Climategate emails.
If you`re referring to the initial release of the emails, then it`s probably because these were scientist`s personal emails, not government ones.

@McGovern1981

You don´t care that hundreds of thousands of civilians are killed?

Thanks you for proving my point Mr American.

gerry1of1 @ you see no problem with ACTA? International trade like say; shell, BP, Halliburton colluding to set "regulations" or price fixing on commodities like petrol? Price fixing means higher tax for the govt and more profit for the companies, why wouldnt they do that especially if they can just blame "the price of oil" worldwide. there is a reason they wanted to keep it secret from you...

Most of the world knows the nation south of Canada and north of Mexico houses the world`s #1 terrorist regime: it`s government.

The world will be saying "Good riddiance" when it goes, a great example of how to not let your government ever get.

AvatarJohn, how are they terrorists? Are the waging a campaign of terror against you?
Or do you just like having a nasty label to use on people you don`t like/agree with?

Sounds like enough evidence for the death penalty for all three of those terrorists listed above. I`ll be happy to tie the nooses myself!

Julian Assange - he`s just a middle man, no different than somebody who would`ve broken the Watergate story. Though he`s slightly rapey when it comes to women.

Bradley Manning is not a hero though. He`s a dweeb private guilty of insubordination and treason. States are allowed to have some secrets. The vast majority of the released information wasn`t even relevant or in the name of "human rights", it was just diplomats bloviating....the US government is allowed to talk about a bizarre Dagastani wedding in peace.

Also, a good portion of this stuff was already known, wikileaks just confirmed it. Not revolutionary stuff.

And stop portraying the Arab Spring as successful. Holy cow, about as many people have died in this Arab Spring as the Iraq war in a fraction of the time.

However, it`s cool to see some of the inner-workings of the government.

I think that, like there is junk the government needs to keep secret n stuff, and like we need to, like, let them do their job and, like, not worry our pretty little heads off about stuff n junk that we, like, don`t know...ya know? Politics is hard.

I understand the need of the government to keep certain things classified but it should not be used as a rubber stamp to cover up any and every activity the politicians decide to get themselves into.

There is NO justification for the US to wage a secret war anywhere without the consent of the people.

wikileaks sent notice to everyone in the gov, clean your crap up or see it exposed.

Lets just restate this. Gather in front of the little white house in numbers, let more people come, and continue to grow, and in the meantime chant "DEATH TO THE PRESIDENCY!!! DEATH TO THE PRESIDENCY!!! DEATH TO THE PRESIDENCY!!! DEATH TO THE PRESIDENCY!!! DEATH TO THE PRESIDENCY!!! DEATH TO THE PRESIDENCY!!! DEATH TO THE PRESIDENCY!!! DEATH TO THE PRESIDENCY!!! DEATH TO THE PRESIDENCY!!! DEATH TO THE PRESIDENCY!!! DEATH TO THE PRESIDENCY!!! DEATH TO THE PRESIDENCY!!! DEATH TO THE PRESIDENCY!!! DEATH TO THE PRESIDENCY!!..."

And don`t stop, until the leader of the presidency comes out and hands the position back to the people.
