How much more debt until people abandon the Democrats? Seems like everyone`s doubling down.

I`m guessing 20-21 trillion or so, which will be around 2016.

How much more rights violations until people abandon the republican party? Probably before the next election since they`re already taking away women`s rights and access to birth control and abortion. And attempting to take gay`s rights away. And when the government does get big enough, you`d better believe they`ll try to take the guns.

We could eliminate the national debt by legalizing marijuana.

VirtualParty - Strawman. I have no intention of supporting the Republican party. Why do you want to put me in the position of defending them?

Besides, all of the "human rights" violations they would be guilty of, Obama would be equally guilty of, for the most part. Rendition, wars WITHOUT congressional approval that kill more brown people, per capita, than even Iraq, Guantanamo, assassinating American citizens, giving guns to Mexican drug cartels, etc - come on now.

Who is banning birth control? There are people who think the government has no business on what happens in the bedroom, and therefore shouldn`t pay for it. But who`s going to ban it? Roe v. Wade overturned? Not a chance.

"We could eliminate the national debt by legalizing marijuana."

This is where I think you`re not being serious. I never realized there was 16 trillion dollars of weed money just lying around.

"People are more important than money"

When there is no money to help people, you run into a problem. A big problem, one that will ultimately collapse the economic system and condemn everyone to poverty and destitution. Besides, you seem to think that the only way to help people is to throw free money at them. That doesn`t help people. Since LBJ`s Great Society, we have spent 15-16 trillion on fighting poverty. The poverty rate has not changed even though we`re spending more than ever! In fact, that time period, around 1970, is when the income stopped growing!

And don`t make this about political party "He said, she said" crap. This is serious. This psycho economic policy will condemn our country to mediocrity, helping nobody, while trying to help everybody.

Andrew, understand that I am not a pothead, but legalizing marijuana would free up a great deal of money from people being incarcerated for victimless crimes; policing pot users; the tax that would be charged on the, now legal, pot and probably a sin tax such as is applied to alcohol and tobacco; and the cost of all the operations in foreign countries where it is produced.

RCola-that would not stick to the plot line of the original story. The other difference is that the liberal grinch only steals from the rich Whos.

Wait, where did the 2009 bailout go? That`s right to banks and their risky trades. Cute video tho.
