I was driving into NYC about a month ago, and there were about seven or eight cars like this in a row going down 495 into the Lincoln Tunnel. All had angled wheels, and bodies shaved to within centimeters of the tires.

This is..weird. I don`t get it, if its just to look at and grab attention it wins. To me though a car is amazing when you can drive it as hard n fast as you want and still looks amazing. This is like the Low Rider phenom..which again I don`t understand at all. To each their own.

Drift racing has used smaller tyre size to wheel size for many years. It makes it easier to break traction if the tyres are as tight as a teak drum. This guy has lowered his car too far + too much camber and the body rub popped the tyre`s off.

Watched some idiot snap an extended front axle by catching a curb-rise as he turned into a gas station. Chortled at the uselessness.

It reminds me of the Back to The future, 2015 modified DeLorean

"I like the duct tape holding the flairs on"

Can`t use real ones, because if you hit a bump, even a small one, the rim is going to take it out.

That`s nothing new, they have been doing stuff like that for a few years now. Extreme camber, stretched tires - I believe it`s called "Stance" or "HellaFlush"
