Blammo! About 10 seconds into the video. The dude looks like he"s about 50 years old, too. And she just strolls on...

Notice the HUGE guy was a second slow, even saw the guy be had a two beat pause in reaction, Fluff for show. The smaller gent was on top of that, He reacted as soon as the guy came into his field of view. Training shows....

He rushed up at her, they did what they`re paid to do...defended her.
I see no problem with this.

I misread this one and thought it said that "Gaga body slams crazed fan to the floor"

I feel that would have been much more entertaining.

Understandable reaction from her security. The man was rushing toward her. There is no time to look at whats in his hands or listen to what he is saying. Their job is to protect, and they did within their legal rights. I am not of fan of hers, but imagine she has many stalkers and obsessed fans that could pose a threat.

To rationally explain my view, let me elaborate why this is a good lawsuit case. Point one the man did not appear to have a weapon, in his hands, and didn`t seem to show any other behavior other than a fan seeking an autograph. Point two yes this is what security is paid for, but only when the situation calls for it. The security guard could easily have just positioned himself between the artist and the "fan/attacker". I could even see an arm bar, or outstretched arm to restrain, but grabbing the gentleman about his neck and slamming him into a doorway was overzealous. If we would hold a police officer responsible for something like this, and we do on a daily basis, we should certainly hold a private citizen accountable as well. Bottom line is the guard brought the situation to violence, and he should take responsibility for it.

meanwhile... that guy has probably dumped hundreds if not thousands of dollars to support that c*nt and her f*cking bodyguard. but let`s face it, that pathetic freak got exactly what he deserved. the only thing that could have made it any better is if he had actually made it through and licked her face. god, i hate people.

Buiadh-"He wanted a drating autograph FFS."

He APPEARED to want a drating autograph.
He APPEARED to be running at a lady much smaller than him.
He APPEARED to be carrying a sharp object in his hand.
He APPEARED to be crazy.
He APPEARED to be homicidal.
He APPEARED to have avoided the safety barriers.
He APPEARED to be stalking her.

Which one is correct? (You MUST BE 100% accurate, your bosses life depends on it)

jamie76-"that btw was assault"

No more than a crazed man running towards her was assault. Is he supposed to wait until he starts stabbing her with a sharpened metal rod disguised as a pen?

tedgp-"Nice claim for assault there"

And GaGa will show this video in court, and the judge will laugh in the guys face (if not put him in jail for being stupid and having bad taste).

phirephoto-"if someone calls you an a$$hole, you can call them an a$$hole back."

Call this man an a$$hole...let me know how that works out for you.

In the time they had to react and the fact that they didn`t really slam him that hard. I couldn`t see any judge or cop actually allowing chargers. They reacted how they should for all they know that was a knife.

@cajun247: "you do have the right to defend yourself from verbal harassment"
Yes, you do.

However if someone calls you an a$$hole, you can call them an a$$hole back. You can`t bodyslam someone from calling you a name. That`s not `defending yourself.`

@jamie

Well seeing how that man CHARGED Lady Gaga, that could easily be construed as a threatening gesture. On top which you do have the right to defend yourself from verbal harassment. Furthermore, Lady Gaga does not have to answer everyones` request for an autograph which in this video clearly wasn`t a good time.

so the lesson here is try to get a autograph got to the hospital.

that btw was assault and those dudes could easily be arrested. being a body guard gives you no immunity from the law and does not allow you to attack someone unless they have actually made it clear they intend to harm you or the person you are guarding...this little fruit cake had a pen and paper in his hands...not that deadly.

gaga lawsuit time!
