I don`t think I can call that thing a "model" airplane. It`s like the size of a smart car.

Eh, I`d prefer see real pilots do this in real planes.

Two PHYSICS issue with real plane versions of most of these stunts... 1: Thrust to weight ratio: no way lighten plane enough to provide enough engine power while still providing structural integrity for 2: G-Force tolerance. Scale that plane up to some REAL weight and the g-forces exerted are more than the materials can handle. Fun to watch though!

You can`t see it, but the planes have propellers in front, they are spinning too fast though. That how they can just "stand" in the air.

    "How in the hell....?"

As Altair said, power to weight ratio from a propeller that cannot safely be duplicated in a real world application.

The pilot would die rather quickly if he was flying something that powerful.

Although, I imagine they could work out how to make a real full sized prop plane to a tail stand like that. Cost and "Why would you want to" figures in though.

It is possible to build a vertical take-off airplane. However, there are issues of scale, so they don`t look quite like that model.

I would have liked to see them put a puppy or kitten in the roosterpit. Now that would be some excitement.

How the hell what?! It seems pretty obvious. Perhaps I lack the understanding of how technically challenging this BS is. All I know is I watched this and it increased my boredom.
