Why does there have to be a Christian alternative? Am I not getting something? Is the non-Christian way a sin?

"@Gerry. That is, imo, the least classy post I have seen you make (you are usually a highlight on here). I am disappoint...."

Yeah Gerry, how dare you criticize child rape! You are offending all those people who genuinely support child rape by remaining members of a church that has centuries long history of protecting child rape. Be more respectful!

Because traditional Yoga is far too atheistic

Some people are uncomfortable with the spiritual aspect of yoga, hence this type of alternative. Or, this book was issued for the sole purpose of making Christians look stupid, and give some the opportunity to bash them. I am sure the I-A-B hivemind will figure it out....

@Gerry. That is, imo, the least classy post I have seen you make (you are usually a highlight on here). I am disappoint.....

"It`s kind of sad because they`ll have to learn sooner or later, people will be having faith in God forever."

And there will forever be skeptics. Besides, pretty sure NOBODY believed in God a few thousand years ago, and your specific definition is even younger. But you`re not even supposed to believe people even existed that far back.

oh look, more bashing of faithful people. seems some people can`t come to grips that other people have faith in God. It`s kind of sad because they`ll have to learn sooner or later, people will be having faith in God forever.

She foiled Satan`s plan! She saw how Satan started Hinduism 1000 years before the Abrahamic religions and, and waited thousands of years for it to catch on in the US where the names of poses were translated from Hindi into English so he could take the souls of the health conscious. The poses are all the same though.

Christians: "But, it protects my eternal salvation, right?"

Makin` a livin` the Christian way. The Church has been doing it for centuries. Think, too, Oral Roberts, Tammy Faye, your local sermonizer, etc, etc, etc.

Even in England I`ve heard of village churches refusing to let church halls out to yoga groups.

Yoga originated in India but has no association with the religion. It`s a Philosophy that does match with Vedas. Perticulay the self actualization part of the life.
I have heard that some churches actively discourage their flock from doing Yoga because the practice starts with an invocation chant. That is musinerpreted as praying to Hindu Gods.
The invocation is a beautiful sentiment of gratitude to the teachers who for centuries taught the knowledge, an homage & respect to the tradition of practice.
Some Christians are so idiotic,

yeah, uber fundamental Christians don`t think of yoga as a physical thing, like exercise, but of a meditative religious thing, like Buddhism (as stated by bataleon). And they won`t separate the physical part out of the spiritual part, because of how they perceive their own devotion to their religion: all or nothing.

Just slap "Christian" on anything and idiotic Christians will buy it. It`s been done before selling many other products. They`re pretty retarded that way.

Yoga has a lot to do with Buddhism, I`m guessing that`s why.
