"I`ve been banned before for posting that gif drgnfire. ;) "

And what a stupid ban that was.

Hey mod, before banning the guy, tune into some Avenue Q "Everybody is a little bit racist" on youtube. Banning him would probably be more racist than him posting the gif.

Crakr - you`ve been watching Fox News again haven`t you.
No, Obama didn`t say he likes grape soda. He doesn`t usually drink sodas.
His favorite beverage is Black Forrest Berry Iced Tea.

He`s still a jerk of course, but not a grape soda drinking one.
still have news stations that follow the standards of journalism?
@markust: The "lesser" stations, CTV and Global, are pretty good, but the CBC (Government funded) is 97% biased to the hard-left, every time.
Yeah lets pretend CJ`s not racist like McGovern and AJ... afterall they have each others racist backs...
It`s racist to accurately report the truth? Oh yeah, I forgot it was @madest talking...

@CrakrJak: Perhaps if you un-tuck your shirt @madest will believe you?

Not being racist at all, I do believe he was asked back in 2007 what his favorite soda was and he answered "Grape". Welch`s grape to be more exact, but I could be wrong.

BBC wouldn`t mention that now; 4 years ago they would have pushed it for days.

"American networks are available up here, and our oft boring politics is sidelined for your emotion-inflating brand of news."

That is the problem right there. News is supposed to be boring. Do you have any idea how lucky you are to still have news stations that follow the standards of journalism? Our cable news has become so bad I refuse to watch unless there is a major catastrophe.

@markust: Because we`re inundated with your news 24/7. American networks are available up here, and our oft boring politics is sidelined for your emotion-inflating brand of news. I assume the case is similar between Australia/New Zealand. Also what your country does affects us quite a bit.

@Kalimata, "When I read a news story, I`ll read it on BBC, Al-Jazeera and the CBC. When you average out all the news points you usually get somewhat of the truth."

I do the exact same thing with the three main internet news sites here in America. I also only read my news. I really should add BBC into the mix.

So as a Canadian what is up with a couple of the Canadians on here knowing so much about American news and American news stations? It seams really weird to me.

Did someone say profiling is ok if it`s based off of what beverage you drink?
Never mind America go back to watching tv.

Remember when "news" meant reporting the facts and letting folks decide for themselves?

I read from the BBC or Al-Jazeera for actual news.
Everyone knows our media is self-absorbed, no-one really pays attention to them except the old folks...
