Aha! This explains why my submission of this disappeared this morning--it had already been submitted and approved. I`m glad it went up, regardless of the submitter. It`a a great clip. It really makes me laugh, particularly the Asian girl who hits the button 5,000 times.

@ScottSerious: According to the Australian company that makes them, Fantastic Delites are "crinkle cut rice snacks deliciously seasoned with delectable gourmet flavours."

    Sounds good to me! =^.^=

Yes bow down in front of your God, a box of monosodium glutamate and other horrible chemicals, you sad little people. Why didn`t they just put a huge dildo on the front of it and tell the little sheeple to bend over?

I wouldn`t consider this shameless, as it`s rather obvious that at a certaihn point it became less about getting something free and more about entertainment: seeing what was asked for and seeing if you could complete it.

    Rather good advertising ploy.

blackcatseye-"Why didn`t they just put a huge dildo on the front of it and tell the little sheeple to bend over?"

This was about advertising a product, not about fulfilling blackcatseye`s fantasies.

But hey, if that`s what floats your boat, I know some people....

@Squrlz: In your (and my!) profile there`s posts that are comming up tomorrow! I know it sounds un-believable but @FancyLad plans... in advance! lolz! At least a little.

This isn`t about "shame" as much as it is about curiosity. It`s part of human nature to go "huh? What`s this?".

Also: It`s amazing what peer pressure (a cheering crowd) will do...

I love a deal, and I love free. But I also hate clutter and wouldn`t take most things free or not unless I absolutely need it. I might get something for someone who needs it though, if the price is right!

Its not really shameless. Shameless seems to imply unpleasant/humiliating things. Everything the video showed was humorous and fun for people.

    This isn`t "shameless". It`s security.
As you get older, you`re more secure and you don`t give a good god damn what other think. So I would absolutely do the chicken dance, or whatever the machine said because is FUN. It`s novel! It`s Differant! And I am not lessened by what others might think of my behavior.

My other half would sooner die than do that stuff, so to each his own.

I think this ad campaign is awesome. That said, it reminds me of a Skinner box (see below).

I`m hoping they add a shock generator in the next installment. "YOU AREN`T PUSHING THE BUTTON FAST ENOUGH." *ZZZZZAP*!

"I must have clicked 100 000 times on my mouse"
    Exactly @ILikeLogic! You`re spot-on correct!

@Squrlz: Me too! Skinner Boxes can be used for good... or evil...
Also: Milgram`s Obedience Experiments < scary stuff!

@liabach: LOLZ! That`s "thinking outside the box" eh? Actually I think there`s a person hiding inside there ;-)

@Squirlz: Aside from the button itself, this bears little resemblance to a Skinner Box. You don`t get a reward for pressing the button even 99 times in a row, and there`s no penalty either.

@5cats: Ah, yes, Milgram. Back when ethics approval was just a formality. That was probably the closest psychology has ever been to real science.

vv @patchy: Yup! Milgram was a pioneer!
I does too resemble a Skinner Box, at least a little bit! Not all Boxes had shocker plates in them, eh? There`s been a lot of variety over the decades...

It`s different in that the subjects know in advance what they have to do, and they`re free to leave, that`s true enough.

But it`s an experiment, it has a button to push and a reward if the task is completed...

@5cats: But the point of the Skinner Box was operant conditioning, whereas these people aren`t likely to continue after they`ve received their reward, even if the reward were increased. This is more of a study in delayed gratification than a Skinner Box.
