It`s good that he bent over just as the monkey threw his poop.

@LIK: Thanks! He`s been doing great. And needless to say, no one in my family will ever say a bad word about Harrison Ford. Awesome guy with a great attitude.

CaptKangaroo - Dude! K19 is an excellent movie. It`s the true story of russian nuclear submarine crew with a radiation leak! Harrison Ford plays the Russian Sea Keptan. He does a good accent.

See it, it`s good.

Gerry- in American Graffiti, he didn`t act so much as recite lines and look purty. Never saw K19, but I did like him in Blade Runner more than any of the Raiders movies.

They`re making INDIANA JONES 5.
When is old too old?
I hate to see an aging actor clinging to a role he has gotten way to mature for... like Roger Moore as James Bond.

I`m surprised no one`s mentioned K19 or AMERICAN GRAFFITI.
Not my favorite films of his, but I think his best acting was in those.
My favorite film of his...RAIDERS. Can`t beat the classics.

Raiders is as good as it gets for me. That was a pretty cool story Squrlz. It`s nice to hear that there are still a few decent famous people left out there.

True Story

Years ago, my nephew was diagnosed with leukemia and the "Make a Wish" Foundation arranged for his wish to come true: Harrison Ford flew out to New York City in his own plane and met my nephew at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. There, the two of them met and spent three hours privately touring the Egyptian wing together, then had lunch.

Harrison Ford (according to my sister and nephew) was gracious, funny, relaxed, and fun to be around. He had lots of great stories to tell. Several teenage girls who spotted him were trailing them around the exhibit (kept at a distance by the security guards), and this seemed to amuse and gratify him.

My nephew, thank goodness, has recovered fully from the leukemia. His father (my brother-in-law) has a photo on his wall at work taken that day and people are always asking, "Why do you have a photo of Harry Potter with Harrison Ford?" (My nephew looks a bit like Daniel Radcliffe.)

People who say Temple of Doom, you distress me. It`s not even his best Indy film- you can`t have a good Indiana Jones flick without Nazis. Best film with him in is Apocalypse Now.

I guess we`ll always be able to tell where the new posts leave off for the night, now that you`ve instituted B.A.N. style discussion posts each evening.

He`ll always be Han Solo to me, even though I`m given to understand that he personally hated playing Han. He wasn`t shabby in SABRINA either, though I do prefer the original.

The name is `imdb.com`, fancy. No reason to tax brain cells with questions that start like "What was that movie with dude in it...", just check his filmography.

I`m guessing this is when he injured his back filming "Temple of Doom."
