So MrBungle, you are using excuses and money to justify eaating like a fatass? Well ok, eat cheaply like a fatass, then you still have the choice to GO WORK OUT!!!!! Humans used to have to run and chase their food, our bodies are built for action, so take action and stop being a waste of flesh.

Or you can pray to god to get you thinner and spend your life relying on everyone else to do things for you and wonder why you are FAT.

IAB this is why you fail again. This is not WHY someone is fat, this is a result.

Seriously, who the fvuck keeps doing this. You keep fvucking up the "America Fat" and the "Literal Photos". Look, you do not know what you are doing. Stop.

Still, for 10-20 bucks i can find better things to feed a family of 6 with. I wasn`t so much arguing the mcdonalds cheeseburgers as being anything good, i was just saying that`s probably all i could feed a family of 6 with 10-20 bucks. At burger king recently I got 2 double whoppers and 2 chicken sandwiches (not all for me soo chill) 1 medium fries and 1 medium onion rings with 2 medium drinks, that came to 27 and change. A family of 6 that eats at a fast food restaurant can probably eat more that one "meal" there but even ignoring that if each person got one sandwich or burger and one drink with the food being about 4 dollars each and the drinks about 1 - 1.50 each then it would quickly go beyond 20 bucks. 6*4 alone is 24.

@ecpkngt: I`m a college student with a budget of less than $50 a week for food, laundry, gas, medication, and any other expenses. I can feed myself healthy food for between $25 and $30 a week. I cook every meal with lots of fresh vegetables. I eat many small meals, rather than three large ones, to keep my metabolism up and I have fresh fruit every day. If I`m eating meat that week it`s usually chicken that I cook all together and eat for three or four nights, separated by other dinners so I don`t get bored. If meat isn`t on sale, I use beans and nuts to get my protein because it`s cheaper. I eat almost no salt or sugar beyond what I can`t avoid from natural sources, and a night or two a week I let myself have a piece of dark chocolate - I love it, but I make one bar last me three weeks or a month. I never buy pre-packaged or pre-canned food because it has too many additives like that. This includes feeding myself the extra calories I need the three days a week I work out.

BTW, You could probably feed that many people for that amount of money at Taco-Bell, but you would really not want to do that on a regular basis.

People need to think of fast-food and sodas exactly like cake and ice-cream and then maybe they wouldn`t be so confuzzled as their waistline continues to expand and their general health detoriorates over the years.

Might be cheap, but you`ll pay for it in the long run.

@minigeko, McDonald`s regular hamburgers are 250 calories each, so if you`re eating 10 to "feel full" you`re consuming 2,500 calories in one meal.

That right there illustrates the whole problem with the American diet. We load our food up with empty calories because it tastes good and sells better...all while being less filling so we`ll buy more. Nutitionally, we`re not getting the most bang for our buck. We`re feeding our biological cravings for salt and sweet while depriving ourselves of healthy nutrients in exchange for more body fat. All for the benefit of the food industry and profit for shareholders.

wherever you shop, stop going there. Also lemme know what fast food restaurant you go to because a family of 6 being fed for 10-20 dollars isn`t gonna happen anywhere near me. unless the tiny little burgers on the mcdonalds dollar menu, in which case each person could probably eat at least 3 of those. i`ve eaten 10 before i`ve gotten full before

mikygryph doesn`t understand the concept of eating healthy food.
Cheap chemical laden cereal and a banana every single morning indefinitely is not healthy.
Canned soup and crackers everyday is not appropriate lunch.
A cheap white fish fillet and whatever canned or boxed slop you`re thinking count as sides does not a "healthy" dinner make.

Most of your intake should be coming from vegetables, whole grains and fruits, and that doesn`t mean potatoes, white bread, or one type of fruit per week.

Our taxes subsidize the cheap corn and cheap soy that are both fed to the cheap subsidized factory farmed meat and processed into everything else, including your soda. You can feed a family of six at a fast food joint for 10-20 dollars. I can barely feed myself and one other a meal at that cost, so long as we try to maintain any semblance of a balanced, varied, plant based diet.

mrbungle: You been to a market lately?

Yes I have so quit filling people with over exaggerated lies. Fruits and vegetables don`t go bad for a week and you are WAY over exaggerating prices.

a $3 box of cereal, $2 gallon of milk and $3 bunch of bananas comes to $10 for breakfast a week at most.

$2 cans of soup, and a $2 bag of crackers plus $5 for veggies equals $20 or so for lunch plus mid day snacks.

And a pack of chicken breasts for $6, and a few fish fillets for another $6 and some sides can`t equal more than $30 that equals $60 a week to eat healthy.

Just because you want to eat greasy food, waste your money on poo tons of soda instead of drinking water and shove fatty snacks in your face and make bullpoo excuses for it doesn`t give you the right to make up blatant lies to help you sleep better at night.

For one week buy a dozen bananas, box of shredded wheat cereal, skim milk, a can of soup and crackers for each lunch, a thing of mixed vegetables and light dip, and a healthy dinner of your choosing like swordfish, lean steak, or chicken. Then tell me that going to mcdonalds for breakfast every morning, processed deli meat sandwiches and chips for lunch and KFC for dinner costs more.

You been to a market lately? You can eat Mcdonalds crap for 99 cents every day. A "Healthy dinner of swordfish, lean steak or chicken" is going to cost you about 10 to 15 dollars, and that`s every day. On top of the 4 dollar gallon of milk, However much cereal costs now, which is a lot. Mixed vegetables are pretty expensive, and they go bad after a few days.

You can absolutely eat cheaper at a fast food place every day and the chemicals and preservatives that are put into it actually become addicting to people so they know people will come back and eat that greasy nasty cr

DracObi: how is this WHY were fat? this is more because were fat. want to know why Americans are fat? its because it cost twice as much to get low fat or fat free foods, healthy versions of foods, and fresh produce.

Bullpoo. I am sick of hearing this excuse.

And unless you are a body builder or pro athlete their is NO excuse for being over 250.

Sounds like someone already got sued over this and now has a warning sign out.
Warning signs don`t help...they hurt. A "Beware of Dog" sign just proves you knew your dog was dangerous. Weight limit signs indicate they knew they bought weak chairs not capable of supporing their customers...obvious liability.

I hate sue-happy people. Law-suit-Lotteries.

Also for the uneducated, 250lb limit doesn`t mean at 251 it breaks just like putting 20 people in a 19 person elevator doesn`t make it suddenly crash into the ground. It`s called factor of safety.

No, I don`t think that there *are* that many people over 250 lbs that aren`t fat. We may have come to believe that there are, but, there really aren`t. I mean, even on NBA basketball teams, where the guys are 6`-5" and pure muscle, few weigh significantly over 250 (Lebron James is 6`-8" and 250, Dwayne Wade is 6`-4" and 220). I`m not saying anything against fatness or being fat (hey man, eat all you want!), but I am saying that, in most cases (over 97-98%% of the cases or so, actually), being over 250 is way fat. Not a little fat, WAY fat. And that`s just life.

Sorry, Coca Cola did not provide that sign.

That is a promotional acrylic menu holder, and many businesses use them (provided free by the company).

Actually, this business needs to quit buying cheap-assed chairs.

@Aints - Pmarren was saying the post description, which inaccurately reflects what is going on in the picture, makes Americans looks dumber than the picture itself. It`s just a sign holder that this store can use however they please. It doesn`t necessarily mean that coca cola endorses whatever message is in it.

Cool icon btw.
