"whole lotta incest going on" Of course. Adam and Eve`s sons had to bang their sisters to "be fruitful and multiply".

"who are you?" I am the end product of millions of years of evolution. I am the most perfect life form ever to walk this planet. Who are you?

well clone anyway, so it`s more like masturbation (both of which are topics greatly supported by the church)

That was good, I like a bit of whoa science every now and then.

Has anyone had an ancestral DNA test done? I quite fancy the idea.

The first part was interesting, and the whole bit about how I have atoms that belonged to Shakespeare is possible (although statistically unlikely), but not all that interesting. Would have been more interesting if there was more DNA talk and less "atoms that make up you" talk.

ok..think of this another 2000 years some unlucky person will have a billion atoms from each and every stupid person alive today.
I predict a very grim future...

@Lord Jim an ancestral DNA test is very high on the list of things I want to waste some money on. I think I would learn some very interesting things about my dad`s side of the family.

I realized the first part when I was pretty young, it is pretty intuitive if you ever thought about it. We`re just one huge dysfunctional family.

The second part is a little less intuitive. First of all, don`t we make a tiny tiny tiny fraction of the mass of the earth? There`s a lot of atoms in the pool to draw from. Secondly, I wonder if they took into account the half lives of elements... some current atoms didn`t exist in the past and appeared as product of decay. Also, something like trillions tons of meteor matter deposits fresh atoms on earth every year. I`m not sure I buy the second part.
