    I`d love to know what people with such prosthetics (below the knee) think of them.
    To me, they look brilliant, and aside from the lack of ankle movement, superior to real legs.
    Feet and calves are over-rated.

    Well, caretta, I must say I`d be rather interested to hear their opinions as well....but I think your conclusion is slightly bonkers...!

    It is actually pretty commonly known that prosthetic limbs give a bit of an advantage over able-bodied runners.

    Just look at the limbs, and imagine how they would work at full sprint. It`s not difficult to see.

    This is only here because they`re disabled.

    Hate to be a cynic.

    @Buiadh

    Doesnt mean its not worth watching.

    People being sympathetic of people who are suffering from disabilities does not mean that people without disabilities` efforts are worth less, it just means that normal people find it easier to applaud the efforts of people who are already struggling more than they are themselves.

    Its nothing to be cynical about, it is simply a part of the human experience, and you should feel good about it.
