magnetic floating globes?!? Really, skytz1337? How exactly do you think you would set that up in a car? I`d be interested in seeing you pull that off.

What amazes me is the type of response: "Holy crap, it`s real magic!" and not "cute. I can`t even see the string".

    People are so freaking stupid.

@patchouly well it`s not complicated at just make it more powerful to hold up something higher..and as for the device itself..just throw "carelessly" a jacket over it..or something

Another way, and after seeing other videos from him..i think this is more likely, is using carbon nanotubes .They`re virtually invisible to the naked eye ( only a few nm) and they can hold an unbelievable amount of weight. can buy them rather easy on the internet.

If he did it any other way than just holding it up by a string, this might be understandable...

Is that all he did? It`s not a carefully controlled helium mixture?

I used to have a cool helium filled pen that would hover wherever you left it.

He needed to use wire or something rigid to keep the cup from twisting around.

    Thems people are dumb.

Even better; act like you`re holding the cup, then when you reach for the food it REMAINS FLOATING WHERE IT WAS OMG

It`s sad that people, even people who`ve yet to get a higher education, would not see the sway of the cup and immediately recognize an anchor point but calling him a demon, throwing his food at him, shutting the window, and demanding he leave? I`m embarrassed for most of them but those ones make me ashamed to share a species.

I imagine the thread was laid across the top of the cup, and then the lid placed over that, leaving thread hanging on both sides. This allows the thread to be horizontal (hand passed over the top) and keep the cup from rotating. The ends of the thread are anchored to the sides of the car.

Its a trick with sound and magnets. The pitch of the sound raises the cup, but its outside our audio spectrum that we don`t hear it (like a dog whistle, just opposite end of the scale) and magnets are used to stabilize the cup.
