On a related topic, Jag is a disgusting perversion of a drink that was probably used to clean the drains in the monastery before some marketing genius got hold of it.

Jag is also a tonic (its original purpose, the alcohol preserved it) made from 16(or is it 15, not sure) different herbs. My 85 yr old Dad has had his daily Jag shot for as long as I can remember.

Healthy, and tasty !!

It`s actually the vision of St. Eustace, the patron saint of hunters. Jagermeister being German for "master of the hunt" and all. Just some trivia there.

And a quick trip to Wikipedia shoots this theory down. The logo is a reference to Saint Hubertus.
