    It`s not painted. Unless the person painted the duct tape once they stuck it on their car.

    Actually no it is more likely to rot out by the end of the month simply because you are locking in any moisture there is/was.

    To prevent rust, just make the body from PVC piping and cover with duct tape. Should be almost as safe as riding a motorcycle in an accident too!

    My guess is that the car was already messed up. There`s a little damage in the back. Underneath the tape it is probably either faded, primer, or a mix of colors. All in all, it could look a lot worse. From a distance or driving by it would be hard to notice. I wouldn`t want it on my car, but it probably looks better than it did before and it`s a cheap solution until it can be properly painted.
