it only works on lazy or illiterate people so I approve and would like to personally congratulate the winner of that auction for being stupid

Sure caveat emptor and all, but this still should be considered fraud.

I recall a lot of people buying PS3 `boxes` in a similar fashion a while back.

No he/she won`t. If the auction states that a picture is being sold, the buyer is responsible for reading it. I`ve sold a lot of stuff on eBay. I`ve never done something douchey like that but I`ve had people try to fight for a refund because they didn`t read everything. They always lose.

"if you just read the listing carefully, there is no need to worry. Also, you`ll notice that people have bid ridiculous amounts of money for this to troll the seller anyway.."

I read an article that said people in Detroit were lining up to pay 1000.00 dollars for these things. a thousand dollars for sneakers. A THOUSAND DOLLARS FOR SNEAKERS!!!

You`d think for $1175.00 they could at least throw the box in with the photo. What a cheap bastard.

Reminds me of that eBay scam on Judge Judy. Should really read the description. I`ve saved myself twice when almost being conned on eBay.

`New without box` is misleading as it is, and eBay can do this guy for scamming.
