    Easy enough to do. When they get to a certain height (you have to restrict their growth outwards to encourage faster height), you snip them back and graft them to each other, tie them together tight then allow them to grow again. Then once they are formed, you release the ties, and let it grow unabashed.

    This tree is in Cedar Falls, Iowa. It was heavily damaged in a storm two years ago. They had to take it down. Pretty sad! :-(

    Here is a link to the pic of what it looked like right after the storm. (I guess it was 3 years ago...time flies.) I loved this tree and grew up wishing I lived in this house! Thanks for the welcome!
