"You lift things up and put them down?"

I laughed so hard at this. It reminds me of a planet fitness commercial! >_<

That`s a respectable way to be. Decency has rewards the depraved fail to comprehend.

Ya, Ya, Ya, others came 1st, 2nd and 3rd so what this chick did was honorable. I know most `mercans don`t understand the word but where I come from finishing what you start is important. Others may have won but you still finish. That was an honorable gesture by a fellow runner. Far too little honor these days.

Jealousy, eh? Typical woman response to a girl who is in shape because she runs and works out.

From the first two pics, I was convinced the girl in the red shirt was going to smack the one in white. ^^

Pretty sure if the girl didn`t starve herself she wouldn`t be collapsing.

95% of people here are nerds mad they weren`t good in gym. And they also didn`t read anything about these girls, so they don`t know the story. Trolls gonna troll.

If I was the coach, I would have kicked blondie off the team. It`s a track meet; it`s not Normandy beach. It`s not like your friend is not going to die, for f***`s sake! You`re out there to do your best and try to win. You fail at that, you`re outta here!
Does this disqualify EVERYONE in the race?
No, only the person who was helped over the line (assuming they`re using standard rules for this race).

This must have been staged. There are only total douche bags left on this planet.

IAB once again fails to understand that the whole point of the post was that the runner ignored competitive and selfish instincts to help someone in need.

No one would be disqualified in the race both girls would get credit for finishing. The injured girl actually finished ahead of the helper girl so she would get credit for a faster time.

Lousey. You finish your GD race first, THEN go back & help the injured runner (who was not quite good enough) finish. Does this disqualify EVERYONE in the race?
How is this helping? Getting carried over still means you didn`t finish the race.
Worse than that, it makes it impossible for the "helped" runner to finish the race, making their entire race and all the effort they put into it a complete waste of time.

It`s well-intentioned, but it`s not a good thing.

That was nice and all that. But if she had just stopped running to help instead of dragging her along it would have been better. Not a great idea to strain an injury.
